Woohoo Sushee
Wow Trish, congrats on hearing both little and wonderful hbs - so reassuring isn't it. Also wow re the 40yo lady and twins. In my local town there is a family who feel pg for the third time, well when the babies were born (triplets who are now 30) they had to trade their brand new car in for a mini van. They had 5 under the age of 6.
Excellent news about the scan Didge.
oooohhhhhhh come on Tam, [-o< to join us. Tick tick 2pm (perth time)!!!
-
It's only early, just found out, but I want to be able to say:
I WAS HERE!!!!!

And here for the long haul, Tam! Wooohooooo!
Congratulations again on your BFP!!!

Trish I am so glad you are happy with the hospital! I can't believe you are 17 weeks already, the time is just flying by! A lady at my DD's swimming lessons is 20 weeks with triplets at the moment
Mel, ohhh I am so jealous about finishing work! Rest up & enjoy your sleep ins \:D/
Hi ya Didge! I am doing ok thanks, sooo tired & a little queasy in the morning & at night but nothing major!
Sheree, hope you are feeling ok & the spotting has settled. It will be September before we know it!!!
Hi Alicia~nice to 'meet' you!!
Is Amy next for line for labour vibes?? I wonder how she is!
-
How exciting BFPs and labour vibes \:D/
-
Didn't Amy say in a previous post late last week that she might have to be induced sometime this week?
love
sushee
-
oooowwww inducement - me wonders!!!!! :-k
-
Tam -fantastic news I am so :happy4u:
:cheer: :confetti:

I got DH to ring for me, ask for HCG & P4, this is what he gave back:
1661 that one
28 progesterone
73 hormone
going on that my ET of a blast was on Friday 10/2 I think that makes me 17dpo
Please help, does that sound ok (obviously besides the P4)
I will double check tomorrow morning
-
Tam,
so your HCG was 1661? Mine were 200+ only at 16 dpo, so that's huuuge. I know you only had one emby put back but hmmmm.
Or was the HCG 73?
love
sushee
-
Yeah, it could be DH getting it wrong, so info could be a bit off.
was going to guess, but probably best not to. I'll get it right tomorrow morning.
Still in shock.
-
OOOOhhh Tam - so excited for you.. It'd great to have you here. Plus a new av - you sexy thing!!!
-
if that is your beta it is huge - I was 448 at 15dpo - I know another lady who had one embie but now preg with identical twins.
LOve that avatar - woo hoo stunning
:-k is this I look in my dreams - some I know are better looking in real life LOL but hey it makes us look and feel good. Who is going to have an ugly mug on their avatar anyway.
-
Congratulations Tam!!! I agree, that's a bloody huge beta...mine was 988 16dpo and I've twinnies on board....wow! Perhaps they've divided into 4
-
Tam, excellent news, congrats.
Trish, glad ur aptmt went well & yikes on that story.
Sush, yeah I've only got 3.5wks (or more) of work left, counting them down too.. :-)
Yeah Amy was talking about induction & that would be about now i reckon.
Yay, we won this ebay auction for a cot, yay, it's gorgeous we saw it this arvy: 7744799871. Pickin it up tomorrow arvy.
-
Well done, shell. I had a steaky beak at it. What a bargain! It really looks sturdy, and I love the colour!
Tam, your av is stunning! And as someone who has met her, I can tell the rest of you girls, it ain't far off the real thing!
DH, DS and I just spent the evening setting up all the nursery furniture. Most were flat packed, so we had a lot of assembling to do. But it all looks great so once I've dressed the cot and cradle, and my glider chair comes in, I'll take piccies for the little'un's website.
Also got the capsule fitted today while I was having the car serviced. Now to pack the hospital bags.... yes, I still haven't done that! Lol!

Ok, I got it right from the nurse today:
1661 is Oestrogen
28 is progesterone
73 is hcg
I'm not really sure on my days, (blast transfer on 10/2, help may be required) but the nurse said it was ok.
Repeat test is next Wednesday, so until I see that it's not quite sinking in (& especially with such a low P4). We'll see, I'm doing my 8 pessaries a day now so as long as that holds off any bleeding my fingers are crossed.
Thanks
-
I just looked back on the hcg levels discussion at the beginning of the month & I think mine look low (unless late implanter, that's what my EP did in October) And the nurse said it was ok. I'm a bit confused.
And it's another week for testing. That's a bit long too isn't it?
-
Hi there!
I know ages ago I made a promise that I wouldn't read about potential problems on the internet....famous last words. Now with my 12 week u/s fast approaching I'm getting worried that a. one of the twins won't be there, and b. incompetent cervix ](*,) I don't really know why the latter one's bothering me, I have no reason to suspect it. Too much time on my hands...
I haven't had any spotting, no cramps etc... so why on earth do I feel the need to torture myself? I even felt a movement this morning - felt like they were turning a half somersault, was pretty cool. And I'm already sticking out, and I've got porno boobs (this is pretty something given they used to be too small to fit comfortably in a bra, could've used a band-aid to hold them up
Ok...enough of my weird dramas.
Hope everyone's well. Congrats again to Tam, that's excellent news sweet.

Hello Girls,
Sorry I have been so slack and not keeping up... but it is unbelievable where the time in the day goes.
I guess if I was just breastfeeding rather than expressing 1/2 hr, then feeding, then playing, then washing bottles, and then getting Munchy to sleep so I can express and basically do it all again, I would probably have more time, LOL!!
All is well with us, Munchy is a big boy, so we started some rice cereal and banana, apple and pear a bit early, but he is anticipating, mouth opening and not spitting a drop out, so I guess he is ready.... With the rice cereal at night we are at least getting 3-4 hrs between feeds rather than every 2 hours. So things are looking up!
I have finally posted some new piccies on the website.... sorry it has taken so long.
I apologise that I have not caught up with your posts to see how you are all going, but my thoughts are with you, and I hope that you are all going reall well - mustn't be too long to go for many of you!! Nice to also see some new names!!
Take care, and I look forward to reading about all your good newses (too much time with the Munchy, gooo, gaahh, baaah....)

Hi Girls,
I just found out about our :cheer: :bfp: last Friday, my first ever after 4 years TTC, we are SO excited but also not trying to get too delirious until we see that little heart beat in a couple of week's time. Sigh, so much for patient-rose!
Tam, my beta was 180 on 17dpo but I have read that it's not so much the level that is the issue it's how quickly it is increasing, so if your nurse says it's fine I think it should be. I still can't believe I'm pg and every time I go to the loo I still expect to see dear old AF there. I can't wait to find out if I have one or two in there! At first I thought I might have two because 180 seemed like a big beta but then I read Digde's was 988 on 15dpo, well maybe not!. Who know's I'll just have to wait. sigh ](*,)
-
Welcome and Congrats to Tam and Patient-Rose!!!!
How exciting having all these newbies join us, makes me so happy \:D/
8 weeks and 1 day here!! Its going by so fast that before I know it I'll be ready to give birth  Ive had no issues either so I guess we get to keep this angel here with us.
Sorry for the short and sweet, Dh is off work today so Im gonna get me some :cryinglaugh:
-
Hi Rose and welcome.
Morning ladies.
Bumblebea - tomas is growing so quickly, how time flies.
I hope that everyone is going along "swimmingly" \:D/
-
welcome Rose and Tam, - hang in there you can always ask GP for another BT before clinic if the wait is too long.
Hi Gabby -glad Tomas is doing so well
-
Congratulations Rose - welcome to our looney bin. =D> =D>
-
Congratulations Tam and Rose! Wonderful news from both of you and so good to have you with us.
Tam - my beta was 75 I remember so hoping that yours will show similar signs of improvement at the next test ... yes a week does seem a long time between drinks really. Is it possible for them to squeeze you in a bit sooner? And I just have to say that I love the avatar.
Gab- So glad to hear it is all going well with you and Munchy. Can't believe he is two months old!
Sush - the nursery sounds great ... you are very organised. Don't worry, my hospital bag is only half packed too. I'll be finishing it off this weekend.
Shell - hope these last couple of work weeks fly quickly for you. Not long for us now ...
Didge - what's life without something to worry about? That's what I keep telling myself anyway. I guess we may as well get used to it because apparently, once they are born, you NEVER stop worrying!
Trish - yes the avatars are beautiful aren't they ... they never have bad hair days and they always look so serene. Love your website by the way ... the baby's pictures look great.
Well I finished work today .... (pause for exhalation). Now I can just rest and put a few finishing touches on the cleaning around here. Was feeling a bit nervous a couple of weeks back as I've been getting Braxton Hicks for a while now and was concerned that this meant possibly imminent labour, maybe even before I finished work. Fortunately that hasn't happened. I really wanted this time to myself.
Guess this means I'll be on BB a bit more so can catch up on all the happenings for once. Should be an exciting few weeks coming up.
Hoping Amy is going okay. Yes, Sush, I remember her saying something about being induced but for some reason I was thinking it would be closer to her due date. Cailin is also due soon. She is having Kelly attend the birth ... can't wait to hear how it all goes.
Love to all,
Mel
-
wow Melbo only 39 days to go or less until you meet William - Yay on finishing work \:D/
-
Hello Everyone
Sorry to have been MIA, but so wonderful to see so many new names in here now - so great to see the ranks filling up again!
No news from me either. Went down to Invercargill for a second opinion from the ob down there and he is happy for me to go until 40 weeks and if no luck on our own then we will have to head to the hospital there to be induced. He doesn't necessarily think baby is too big so that was a relief. Damn scan...! They're just there to play with our minds again!!
Am at home and computerless but trying to rectify the problem so I can get on here a bit more often.
Take care all
Back soon
-
Amy you are done to single digits too - good news from OB -about baby's size.
I wonder if you or Kazz in PAMAL will go first - it is so exciting all this waiting - I can't imagine how you feel
-
Hello all,
Amy, glad to see you're still around, though really not long to go for you. I hope you get your homebirth, hunny.
Mel, yay on finishing work! I am starting to get used to being home now. I'm sure you'll setlle right in and enjoy the calm before the storm.
Welcome Rose and Tam! Hello everyone else!
Well, I saw Dr on Thurs and he did a mini scan coz my fundal height hadn't changed from 3 weeks previously and baby hadn't completely engaged. But the good news is that not only is baby happy as larry, it's size is still quite advanced for where I'm at, and there's still heaps of amniotic fluid. I was worried, of course, but Dr reassured me that fundal height is only a guide, and from what he saw on the u/s, bub is still a 'whopper'! Lol! He did agree that my tummy had changed shape though, and that could be what is affecting the fundal height.
So I see Dr again in 2 weeks and then it's weekly from there.
Our antenatal class is next Sat, then it's my pre-admission appt and then it's all about waiting...

Hi all,
just wanted to post in this (very quiet) thread that I've just put a new belly shot on bubby's website, plus a couple of preliminary pics of the nursery as I'm setting it up! I don't think my belly grown much actually, just gotten firmer and lower slung.
And the nursery still has some way to go yet!
Also had to shoo my bl**dy cat out of the cradle a couple of days ago. Lucky I hadn't dressed the cradle or taken the plastic off the mattress, but must keep the door closed all the time now until I can figure out a way to keep it a cat free zone!

Hi All
Hope Everyone is going along brilliantly!!!
I am doing really well, pretty tired and sick of work but other than that all is good.
Sushee- What a gorgeous belly you have!!!!!!!!!!!!! not to mention the nursery, it looks fantastic. I'm so glad your appt went well.....Not long to go now. It seems like just yesterday that you were posting the BFP news on the other site.
Sheree - How are you going? Haven't got my msn up and running again yet but will do it soon.
Everyone else - Hope to get to know you all better really soon.
Love
Alicia
-
Alicia - how far are you along - no ticker ? How is your DD ? Have you added your details to front page. (sorry too many questions)
Are you telling what you are having ?
I was wondering how you were going for ages - you should pop into the other thread, share and catch the news.
Sushee - your nursery and belly is beautiful.
-
Hi Trish
Great to hear from you. And twinnies, that's doubley exciting!!!!
I haven't had a chance to get a ticker and to tell you the truth I don't even know how to go about it.
I am 23 and a half weeks now.
I have been meaning to post and catch up more but with work and dd, (who is by the way, going really well, very excited about the bub.) i just haven't had a chance.
We didn't find out what we were having, thought we'd leave it a surprise. What about you, do you know what the twins are yet?
Alicia xxxxxxxxx
-
Alicia,
I would love to see your ticker! I'll PM you some links so you can go get one! If you need any help with it, please let me know.
I think you're the only other IVFer I know who hasn't found out bubby's sex (we didn't either). Trish, you're finding out, aren't you? I think if I has been carrying twins, I would have!
And thanks girls about the belly and nursery. I will so miss being pg...

Thanks Sush, it'd be good to get a ticker up and running.
I would have found out with twins too as there is double of everything that you need to get, but DH has a cousin who has 6 mth old twins and didn't find out, she ended up with a boy and a girl and they are just gorgeous!!
Well, my eyes are nearly hanging out of my head but I'm just lovin' having the net back on and forgot how easy it was to get hooked.......
My SIL is due to have a baby in a week and a half, very exciting, I can't wait!!!
Alicia xxx
-
Alicia, I just PMed you some info on getting a ticker.
Wow, your cousin has nerves of steel by not finding out! I don't think I could myself. Too much of a temptation! And wouldn't it be great being able to get any of the baby clothes in the shop coz you were having one girl and one boy!

Hi again,
Not sure if this will work, but here goes.........................
do I have a ticker..........................??
-
Sush - I'm the same. When I moan with every headache, back spasm or ache - I also think this is probably the last time I'll be pregnant and I want it to last longer.I can't believe how quickly time is going this time around!
My 18 week scan is next Tuesday!! YAY!! Things get serious after that - choosing a name, getting my DS's room ready for when he moves to a big boy's bed etc. Ooooh - I don't want him to grow up either! I'm never happy am I?
-
Nup.............
Try it this time.............
