Woohoo I'm fast approaching the third trimester :D
That's great Sheree!!! It's flying now isn't it!!
I think I remember you posting somewhere that you will try for # 3 straight away. Will you try al la naturale only?
Yep Justine, I am ecstatic to say that instead of paying for anymore IVF I will be having plastic surgery instead LOL.......We will be trying for #3 ala naturale but without the stress IYKWIM. This pg is such as miracle, but you never know do you......if it happens it happens and I will be happy. But TTC #3has a timeline, I don't want to be older than 37 (just a personal choice we have made). Otherwise, it's a breast reduction for me and some tummy fix ups hehehehe
Sheree and Justine, it's great to see you guys so far along now. Can't wait to meet your little ones!
Trish - the bed sounds like a capital idea. I used to have pillows at work and a heat pad for my bum but I think I like your concept better. The rest will make a world of difference for you.
Going to post a few new pics on Willmartin's site tonight. One is of him, smiling. He is a real little smiler now. He's also started cooing and dribbling like mad. I bought him a teething ring today so that he has something to gum on. (sigh) My little man is growing up!
Hope everyone is well - soon to be mummies resting and current mummies getting enough sleep. =)
I go to Queensland on Wednesday so won't be around for a little while although I will log in from Mum and Dad's place to check on things.
Sheree maybe you could give me your leftover (.)(.)'s. Mine revert back to deflated sultanas after BF is over. You can keep your leftover tummy bits though lol!
Hey I have a gf who is having her f cups reduced this thurs, I'm eager to see the end results. Maybe she can help you out Justine LOL.
Ship it (or should I say them) over babe - cold storage preferably.
Hey Justine - you're not far off now either!
Mel - I was checking out your new pics of the Wee Wilmartin and he is adorable, as is the little jacket he is wearing in those new pics!
Melbo - Wow he is growing up!! What a sweetie he is in his little fluffy suit!!
I know Keen!! I can't wait to meet my little girl. You can take my spot here when I go. I insist!
I'm having a last minute name dilemma. The name we had chosen is now in the top 10 popular names. I still love it but am having doubts :( . It took ages to find one my DH would agree to. Such a big decision!
well if you like don't worry ...
Oh my Trish.. 24 days honey that is sooo soon.... i can't believe how quick that has gone... i bet you can hardly wait to meet the little fellas.. I can hardly wait to see some pics of them... and Justine not long for you now either... gosh you girls will have no one over here soon.. oh kar will be posting here soon, due to her wonderful news of a BFP.... good luck and thinking of you all... leis xx
Mel, just wanted to pipe in and say how cute WM is! That gorgeous blue fluffy suit - it's from Target isn't it? I got given one but Miles was already too big for it, so I 'regifted' it LOL. My brother and his wife had a baby on Friday (Oscar!) and I gave it to them.
congratulations Aunty Sal - Oscar is a cute name and Miles will a have a little cuz to grow up and get into mischief with ... are they near by ?
Sal - skype you can voice talk more with a mike and MSN too but I was typing chatting - I had a five way meeting online the other night with Teddyloveclub. Skype is cool . MSN was fun playing with icons /smileys though.
Thanks Leis - hope you are recovered and on back on the rollercoaster ... but this time is it a short sweet ride.
Thanks Trish, yes I'm a very proud aunty Sal! Oscar is nearby so Miles has a playmate already. Hehehe my brother was saying how babies are 'so easy' and they had a shocker of a night last night! I don't wish it on them but there is a touch of 'told you so'!
I better stay clear of MSN and Skype - I'd become addicted and never do anything else LOL
Mel, I agree WM is sooooo cute in his fluffy suit! It's so great finally having piccies of him, I was checking your website every few days.
I got something like that for Charlie from Pumpkin Patch, but so far it's not been quite cold enough for me to put it on him. It looks a little big still but if I don't get a chance to use it soon, I may never!
Justine, Charlie is such a popular name too, but it just doesn't matter much once they're born!
BTW Sal Oscar was the name I wanted! Lol! Maybe if I have another boy....
Gotta take Zaki to school, bbl!
Hhhmmm bl**dy names are hard (but what a lovely dilemna to have!!) LOL
Hi everyone - I thought I would stick my head in and say hi.
We got a postive Beta yesterday, and like Sheree - we've had a "spontaneous" pregnancy while waiting for our next IVF treatment (which was to be a FET next week).
Both of us are in shock. My mother is still not convinced that I haven't snuck off for a FET without telling her!
For the moment we've just got everything crossed that this little one sticks. Am finding it quite hard to move from subfertile to pregnant!
It is lovely to be able to step in here.... I must say.
Kar
Hi Lovelies,
Thanks for your compliments on WM (presently sleeping in the next room). I've been busy this morning, packing for our trip to Queensland this afternoon. It looks like a jumble sale in the lounge room at the moment.
Sal, yep that suit came from Target. One of my cousins sent it to me. It's very cute and warm too so I'm sure little Oscar will appreciate it. =) Sush, I hope Charlie gets some wear out of his! The Pumpkin Patch things are nice too. Just bought WM some bootees, mittens and a jumper from there.
Justine - it is hard with the name thing. WM's name is in the top ten too. If you like it, you use it (as I said to someone else in one of the name forums). Don't let the fact that it's popular bother you.
Has anyone noticed how the two names most likely to appear on one of those lists are Matthew and Emily? I don't think I've seen a Top 10 name list without those two on it. They never go out of style!
Trish, Keen, Sheree, Leis ... hope you girls are all well.
Talk to you all soon girls. "Look after yourselves ... and each other" (J Springer)
Love,
Mel
Kar we posted at the same time! Congrats and welcome!!!
whoo hoo kar! i wanna follow you so badly!
any room for one more in here? ;)
Danni - you and Kar will be moving in permanently... I just feel it!
Justine - serioulsy, like the others have said - if you like the name then just go for it! You obviously have good name taste (LOVE Isaac!)
everyone else - give yourself big belly rubs, special from me!
oops! i meant do you guys have room for 2 more, me AND keen. Although shes a bit slow on her tww so she might be a few days off becoming a permanent resident yet. hehehe :D
The more the merrier!!
OMG Kar!!!!!! YAY
Congrats honey & welcome!
Kar, woohoo :happyforyou: How wonderful that you did it au naturale (must be your body being scared of IVF :) ) Ooh Kar, I just noticed you're an ACT gal! Where abouts? I was born and bred in the ACT, just returned 3 months ago after 8 yrs away...currently living in Qbn (...ahem...yep it is as bad as you might think!!!!)
Danni, Keen, grab your seats!
Mel, not sure you'll read this but have a lovely trip! Sounds fab, I'm assuming a well-earned holiday??
Sush, yep call your next one Oscar! I love that name!
CONGRATS Kar!!!
Mel, have to agree with the girls WM is GORGEOUS!!!!!!
Justine, I LOVE the name Isaac too, it was on my list (DH didn't approve).
The thing with names is they always go in and out of popularity.
When I called my daughter Madeline it was very unusual but by the end of the year it was the most popular girls name for 1996!
Same with Lily. Everyone thought I was mad naming her that OLD LADY name but what do you know? Now it's very popular.
GL, it is hard but you're right it is a good place to be:)
Tiff I love your name (I'm assuming it's short for Tiffany). I think we may have found another name we both like - we just need to sit on it for a few days to see if it suits. I chose Isaac cause I really liked Zac but since he's been born I've never shortened it to Zac. Just doesn't suit him.
If this one was a boy I wanted to call him Oliver. But then I found out Mark Latham had 2 boys called Isaac and Oliver - blaahh! Can't stand that man!!
Oops forgots to shout CONGRATULATIONS to KAR!!!! Well done honey - I love those surprise pregnancies between treatments - so amazing!
Justine - Yep Tiffany (much better than the Shirley my Mum wanted to call me)!!! Bless her cotton socks!
I LOVE Oliver too!
you are definately not a Shirley - Tiff - no curls but you have her adorable smile.
Hope it all goes well for you Danni and Keen too... it is getting too quiet in here.
Skye - wow 25 weeks already - know you can't discuss names but I do like your DD's name.
Mel- have a great holiday in Q and enjoy the warmer weather hopefully.
YAY Trish!!!
23 days to go!!!!!
Haaaa at Shirley!! My dad wanted to call me Prudence!!!!
OMG at Prudence!!!! LOL aren't we a pair!!!!:p
Melbo hope your trip away is great fun... I loved the update of Wills page, and i must say i did shed a little tear reading his story.... to think that you saw him that day on the screen as a little embryo... and then, 41 weeks later, there he was.. dear little man... I also love his little outfit.. I love ANYTHING with dogs on it.. One day when DH and I have children that is all they will be seen in, anything with a dog(s) on it!!!
Love Leis xx
Sheree, PMSL. U know a fellow at work (Brazillian) told me that in his country they do plastic surgery on mum's after givin birth, tummy tucks, it is very common apparently. i still have my tum, but am starting to eat more healthy & walk now sooooo hope it maybe gone soon. hehe
Trish, great idea.
Mel have a great time, I'm sure wilmartin will get spoiled by his grandparents, hehe. Great pics, is that blue jumpsuit a puppy suit (hood)? I have a lemon duck one my sis gave me when i was 6wks preggie, but holly doesn't fit it yet as its 00, hope it fits b4 winter ends as it is rather cute.
Justine, that's ok, when we chose holly, we hadn't heard of many, now find there's heaps. Like Trish said, so long as u like it :)
Xclnt, another new recruit. Kar that's fantastic news, congrats.
Sal, hehe, babies easy, hehe. Luv the ticker
danni & keen, there's always room in here. :)
Morning ladies
Hi Everyone!
Congrats Alis on your gorgeous new girl!
Trish, are you up next?? OMG so exciting...
Congrats Kar, awesome news. it's always so wonderful to see newbies in this forum.
We are both well. I am on antibiotics to get rid of a bacterial imbalance down there in my wawa!! Yes 3 months on and the fun continues with that and haemroids (sp?), but it's all worth it. so much so that we've decided not to use contraception and if we get a wee natural miracle it would be wonderful. We've got snow on the ground here so just stuck inside trying to keep warm. Noah has a bit of a snotty nose so he's not 100%, I also think the antibiotics are making him feel not 100% but I had no other choice.
Mel - Have a wonderful time away.
Take care everyone.
Amy! Great to see you here. Poor thing, still having issues 'down there'! I'm actually seeing a surgeon next month and am on a waiting list for a perineal repair (botched stitch-job from the tearing when having Miles). So the fun continues for me, too. I too am not using contraception, so another little miracle would be lovely indeed. Ah, just checked to see if you had new pics of Noah up - nope! But he is so cute in his stripey red suit in the jolly jumper!
Hi Shell, great to see you around too! Yep I still have my tum (are you supposed to lose it :cryinglaugh: ??) Ooh haven't seen all those pics of Holly before, what a photogenic little girl she is! And her mum too ;)
OMG! 22 days to meet Trish's boys!!
New thread here ladies.
