Hi Ladies!!
Great to hear all the excitement in this forum!!

Mindhugs - just wanting to say i will probably need to do the CVS and amnio tests as well...if you get any info or advice please share as i would be interested as well, as i fit into that age category too. I will be speaking with my FS on my next appointment about it and let you know what his opinion is..i have been doing some research myself..but to be honest i am trying to avoid it..as i can't beleive theres another hurdle..that i just don't want to think about at the moment.

Thanks Miss K, much appreciated. It's fairly straight forward. All you need to do is copy & paste the one from last thread, update any changes and then edit the colours. Then as arrivals come through you go back and edit & add them, then each new thread you repost it. If you have any questions feel free to PM me!

Ok so big news here is it's official... I'm giving birth to a hippo! Scan revealed that Cookie is 7lb2oz already!!! Size wise he/she ranks in the 95th percentile LOL. Still in breech position, only bum first now instead of feet. So the size issue combined with the breech means that the call has been made and I will be having a C-sect. We'll be booking a date at my appt next week but it looks like it will only be three more weeks! We are so relieved and so excited to have a plan! Can't wait to have an official date to count down to!

Anyway just kicking back with hubby & furbaby watching a movie, so hope you all enjoy your Fri night and will catch you all soon!

Milk Arrowroots, SAO's with cheese and vegemite and dried fruit are my best friends right now......haven't eaten that sort of food in years. Everything else I tried failed and I was sooooooo sick last night. The second my stomach is empty of food I feel sick again. How can I possibly go on eating constantly like this for 5 - 6 more weeks? It's crazy!!! Am going to see a Homeopath on Monday to see if there are some magic drops to help.

Emerald - will be speaking to my FS at my next scan in a couple of weeks and will share with you the tips. At this stage I'm thinking Amnio. However a good friend of mine got very bad results from one of those and I'm sure you know what she endured from there. So that concerns me a little.

hope you are all well and those of you (like myself ;)) enjoying a long weekend - hope it's going extra well!!

BDT - thanks for all the info - very useful! I found the book you mentioned the other day, had trouble finding it because she has a new toddler sleep book out so that's all I could find. So you're following her advice and it's working well???

wantbaby - enjoy your scan next week, so much fun. I'm also counting down the weeks until our next one, our OB is going to do 3D/4D scan at 28 weeks, can't wait!! And hopefully the baby will be in a better position next week so you'll be able to find out what colour your bundle is!

BOC - sorry to hear about DH but sounds like it might be for the best...! And goodness me, Cookie is going to be a great size indeed! Can't believe you only have a few weeks to go, hope it goes quickly for you and you manage to stay away from the hospital!

Mindhugs - glad the scan went well, such a relief isn't it? And just so amazing to see the heartbeat. As for sore BBs, well they last a while sorry, I don't think mine have calmed down at all... And no advice for MS sorry, I didn't get it but hope it's calmed down a bit for you.

kyra - hope you're had some more luck with the cloth nappies. I must admit i'm going straight down the disposables route, I had enough of cloths in my years of working in childcare, lol!

lilmisshavachat - hope your last weeks go quickly and that you're feeling well.

LondonMiss - i'm so with you also on the kicking, I just love it. I guess at this stage though the kicks aren't that hard (well mine aren't yet) so it's not too annoying but I can see that it might hurt down the track... Still, when DH gets home from work, or we're lying in bed if the Chicklet isn't moving then I give her a prod to get her going - bad mother already... :shhh:

Miss K - nice for you to see your little bundle twice in that period. And you'll have so much fun telling people, so nice to see the looks on their faces! As for the list - i'm without computer also so unable to help at the moment.

Emerald Star - hope your scan goes well this week - will be waiting for your update :hug:

A big hello to anyone i've missed - hope you're all cooking along nicely, and those with your bubs already, hope you're still enjoying the moments.

AFM - it's the middle of a long weekend here and i'm at home alone... DH is out with friends which is good for him as he's been working hard lately and could use a break. His work is suddenly incredibly busy and he hasn't been home before 10:30 all week so it's been a bit of a lonely week and i've been feeling a little sad and sorry for myself. I should of course catch up with friends and family while I can but I've preferred to fully indulge in some self-pity and stay at home on the couch eating chocolate easter bunnies. I swear the Chicklet is going to be born with a chocolate addiction :redface: On a positive note, we finally got our quote back for our Canada trip so we can start planning that a little more. Bit scary though - flights for the three of us (still so weird to say that...!!!) will cost around $70000 - we'd better start saving a litle more!

Anyway ladies, better go do some more lying on the couch. Enjoy your evening,
