Pregnancy after LT TTC #10

Hi Lise & everyone else...

Thanks for thinking of me.. I am always in here reading but don't post very much... I'm doing really well and apart from having had two slipped discs in the last 2 months and some severe fluid retention I really am still riding cloud 9.. Things are just starting to get very real as I am now producing colostrum :o that I noticed for the first time last night and that put everything in perspective... Lil Kracker will be arriving soon.. I looked at the use by date on my milk this morning and thought I might have a baby before that expires... Reality check I guess... I really hope that everyone is travelling along nicely and not stressing too much and there will no doubt be some more announcements soon...

Smithy - a big congratulations to you on being a nanna!! I'm still trying to work out how you could possibly be old enough to have 5 children, let alone a grandchild but hope all is going well with all the babies :) Charlie is certainly growing up isn't she? What a cutie.

:lol: aww thanks hun,yes charlie is growing up so fast 10 weeks this week and i wonder were its gone lol.as for the nanny part thanks for the congrats chicky babe ;)im 33 now and started having babies when i was very young:redface:actualy to young but what can ya do lol.all my girls except for charlie are exactlly 2 yrs apart:oso i was very busy all the time ,then from courtney to charlie there is a big gap but charlie was very planed ,the other were not pmsl they just happened but ive learnt to deal with it with a LOT of help from my mum

Lilmiss have achat~ I have that colostrum stuff too.For about 3 weeks i have had it.Thats early i think.I remember with my son i was actually dripping everywhere from about 6 months on.I had to wear 2 breast pads on each breast.Looks like it will be that way again.
Lise~ I plan on locking the nursery door so that nobody can go in and reveal the sex....besides we dont get any visitors...we are hermits LOL !!! The cot bedding that i was going to but from the states worked out at $260 but now is on sale...yay!!! So its only about $210.Thats with the postage included.

Well DH is coming home tonight which im looking forward to.Finally we can get started on moving.
Regarding the list.....Can mine be updated to having a girl with nickname Peanut please?

LondonMiss i wish nesting would kick in for me. We have a spare room with lots of filing calling out my name but i just cant be bothered by the time i get home cook dinner clean up etc. Maybe this weekend with 4 days off, ill find some time :lol:
wantbaby#2 my mum says the same thing. She is a believer that if you feel like it, eat it. She also tells me she ate everything and i turned out fine. You just never know these days though. The only thing i have been naughty with is coca cola. I can pretty much say it must be a craving because i generally hate the taste of the straight up coke, would previously have a diet or coke zero if i felt like it yet now if i have a bit of coca cola, OMG it tastes sooooo good! Yay on getting the bassinet. I have seen those Moses basket ones and they are beautiful.

DH and i felt our first kick from the outside last night. We were sooo excited! It truly is the best feeling in the world. I had been feeling a little left out for not feeling much and a lil worried yesterday during the day and it looks like Tiana let mummy know she is ok!!

er..... you can start leaking this early???? really??? oh my goodness. Just when I thought I was under control of at least two of my orifices, now you shatter that illusion!! How much colostrum leaks? :o:o:o:o

londonmiss~hahaha.Sorry to shock you but yes,i already have it.Its not dripping!! Well,not yet.My nipples are just producing drops and i only notice it when i am getting changed,i might brush my arm/hand against them and they are wet.Try giving yours a gentle squeeze.(TMI) and im sure you will see some droplets.My book says its normal from 18 weeks to be able to squeeze some out.
With my son,the amount was ALOT.I soaked my shirts and soaked through 2 breast pads some days.It dripped constantly from 6 months on.NOT a good look!

I bet you rush off to the bathroom now to have a look....... :lol:

Well girls,im sitting on an esky in the empty house typing before DH comes back from dropping off the fridge.Im doing this on the sly as i should be up there unpacking....;)

My internet will be down for a while til telstra reconnects it,hopefully asap.(Unlike lastime it took 2 weeks!!)

Well I admit I had a play - nothing, nada, zilch. Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing...! DH was most amused (if only slightly secretly horrified) at our conversation!!

Went back to my GP yesterday - infection still no better so home again. I'm actually getting quite bored ladies and reconsidering my proposed 6 weeks off before the Chicklet's arrival... On a positive note my BP was down so I'm happy to report I've stopped Googling preeclampsia symptoms ;)

Lise .. yes well sort of Im just studying maths B and basic Chemistry atm from home on an online tutorial website to brush up and get to know my grounds. Im going back to school (TAFE) next yr to re-do my yr 11-12 and apply for uni the yr after :)

Been fighting this flu off all the last 2 weeks was just about better then DS brought home a head cold from kindy on Tue now I have that one too arrgghh. We're all sick :(

Jelly bean decided to try a rehearsal last saturday btw! contractions started 5 mins apart got painfull and had backache and everything... The hospital told me my cervix was closed and to go home and come back if it got any worse.. so I was up all night and the next day wondering then it all just eased off... Very funny Jelly Bean! but at least now I have a few more weeks to get rid of all these damn germs that keep attacking me!

Belly rubs to all hope you all have a lovely easter! Bought DS's choc eggs today gonna hide them around the front yard and watch him go crazy with his lil basket! :lol:

He saw the easter bunny at the mall today came up waved to him and tryed to give him a little easter egg.. He was FREAKED OUT just sat in his stroller like a stunned mullet eyes like this :o then started to cry when the poor thing offered him the chocolate!

Hello all. Lise - I'm doing a BA hons in Classics, with a uni in the UK. It's all online so they don't even know I'm here, the only downside is when I have to do exams. I'm on my last two modules, which are both third year courses. I've actually done all my Classics courses now, and am doing subsiduary bits and pieces. I'm doing an English lit course on the 19th Century Novel (Austen, Bronte and all sorts of gothic stuff like Dracula to keep my up at night) and an Art History course on Renaissance. I have one more essay to do after the baby is born and then I'll have finished!! Hurrah. I can't tell you how much money you'd have to pay me to do Chemistry and Maths again - the answer is possibly all the money in the world, I have come to the conclusion I have not a scientific bone in my body! So nice one Kyra..... !

Sleep eludes me once again... worse still, I'm getting up in an hour... We're off to Uluru this weekend on our babymoon so I hope you all have lovely weekends, and Kyra/Lilmiss, try and hold off until next week so I can be nosy and stalk your birth on here ;)

Kyra and londonmiss - anyone who can study whilst pregnant has my deepest admiration!! I can barely get through a trashy mag at the moment ;) And very exciting Kyra, though hope you manage to shake your cold before Jelly Bean makes an appearance. I've caught DH's cold too, just as I managed to finally shake off my sinus infection!

Hope you're all having a lovely Easter break and indulging in too much chocolate (I certainly have). DH and I have been shopping (again), I tell you this chicklet already has more clothes than I do but they're all so cute we can't help ourselves. Tomorrow we hit 28 weeks which I'm quite excited about, I don't think the feeling that something might go wrong has really ever left me so am glad to reach another milestone.

YAY, the nursery furniture arrived today and DH is being a dear and putting it all together cos he knows how impatient I am...!

:dance: How exciting Lise for your funiture to arrive.. It's the best time.. I spend a lot of time in my nursery trying to imagine what it will be like to have a real baby in there.. And yay for DH putting it together for you straight away.. Super brownie points for him.. It's pretty quiet in here ATM.. Is everyone off having their babies??? :o
