Hi everyone
oneday, i hope bubs turns around for you soon but if not you have a good plan ahead and am sure all will go well. at the end of the day all that matters is that baby arrives into this world safe & healthy. Have you tried accupuncture at all during pregnancy? I believe that sometimes that can help them turn?
Loops.....YAAAHHH!!! so great to see you here! and another natural pg too...welldone! I hope the next week goes quick and all goes well at the scan.
Hi to JBM, Kass and all the other pg ladies i've missed
And to all the new mums...sending special bub cuddles out to you all xxx
I had an app with an Ob this morning and everything went well, thank GOD! Bub measuring good for dates and heartrate up to around 170bpm so she said all was on track. she said i do have a heartshape uterus but yes it is only a mild case that there should still be plenty of room for bub to grow and not to worry about it. Dh & I had tears running down our faces after hearing the heartbeat, can only imagine the floods we will create as the pregnancy progesses!! (touchwood!) I'm just over 9 weeks now and this is the first time things have looked 'normal' and on-track. I know i have a long long way to go but i am staying positive with this one, i am slowly starting to let myself believe that maybe, just maybe, this one is a stayer! :crossfingers: I'm having another scan in 2 weeks....another nervous 2WW, it just never ends!
Anyway, hope everyone is well & happy and wish you all a fantastic weekend :loveshower:

all is going well. lots and lots of kicking all the time and DH finally has been feeling baby kicking, he fell asleep with his hand on my tummy last night and baby kicking away. so cute.
DH's daughter is preg, 1 month behind me. this is the thing with marrying someone 11 years older .LOL. so i am so excited to be seeing her as we get along really well.

hi ladies! Yogi im trying moxa sticks starting this sunday which is done by a natropath, they put these special sticks on your little toes on a pressure point and burn them and apparently it gets bub moving which encourages them to turn into the correct position, my midwife actually told me about it and said ppl swear by it working, i rang the natropath yeaterday and she said we need to start this weekend otherwise bub will be too big to turn so i have everthing crossed it works but if not its not ment to be i guess.
And thats fantastic news yogi, i remember the first time we heard our little girls heart beat too our hearts melted such an amazing thing to hear after everything we go through! And you will enjoy every part of pregnancy, i still lay on the lounge in awe of my little girl rolling around in my tummy i just love watching her! xx
JBM its so nice when the partners start feeling the kicks becasue i think for so long they dont feel apart of it but when my DH felt it for the first time he was so excited! And enjoy your trip to queensland, i hope its nice and warm for you! xx

Oneday - best of luck in the next few weeks, as for the milk thing I never got bigger breasts though my last pregnancy and the same with this one, was always in the same bra, my milk also didnt come in until day 7!!!! but bub was fine, having a c section it often can delay the milk anyway so just ignore the midwife!
JBM - have fun at the coast! it is my home town and the weather has been great the last few days!
AFM - not much new, I still vomit and get nausea most of the day, I did with my first too, it is just my luck!
have a nice day ladies!
-
mhb - Hope you get a few days without feeling sick!
Oneday - Good luck with the naturopath fx she gets moving
JBM - Enjoy your trip away, glad you're both enjoying the kicks now :)
Loops - hope you're going well
Yogi - yep, the tww never seems to end! I had a few tears with each scan too. My last appointment (at 22 weeks) I'd gotten myself all worked up beforehand because I still hadn't felt anything, and was sure I should have - when she said everything was looking 'perfect' I burst into tears! lol. Glad everything is looking good for you!

Hi everyone,
Yogi, so glad to hear that everything seems to be going well.
Loops - welcome... congrats on the natural positive and I hope it sticks.
Oneday - goodluck with getting bubs to turn.
I need some advice.... I'm still struggling with a name and now have 2 I'm seriously considering. So I want to know what people think of the following (and which you think is better).
Breemika (pronounced Bree-me-ka)
OR
Danicia (pronounced Da-ne-sha - as in the end of Alicia)
I'm still tearing my hair out over this whole naming thing!!! Bub is doing better... we still have a pretty bad time in the afternoons/evenings - she drinks, sleeps on the boob or screams continually from around 4pm to 11pm! My breasts are so sick of being used as dummies but the minute she falls asleep on the boob and I try to take her off to put her down to sleep she immediately wakes up screaming! I really hope she grows out of this phase soon. At least she is pretty good the rest of the time.
Lori
DD1 - 14, DD2 - 1 week and 4 days

Lori: i like danicia. it sounds easier to pronounce and prob less people would get the pronouncing wrong. good luck to you. as for the new baby thing, remember it takes a few weeks for you to both get used to each other, good luck to you on this one too. x o x o
kass: yes i am sure we'll have a great time. it's so good he's feeling kicking even more now. it's exciting for us both. thanks. we're on the countdown now til the B day ( birth that is) i am starting to think about it. eek. memories of how and what etc etc. good luck to you.
mehimbub: yes hoping for nice weather. but when you live in tassie and we had hail and rain and 10 degrees the other day i am sure Brissy will not have to be fantastic for it to be hot and nice for us. LOL. hope all is well with you.
oneday: good luck with the moving bub thing. yes it is nice DH can feel kicking now. he gets excited. so everyone except DS 2 has felt baby and he's a bit sooky about it. LOL. hope all is well with you.
AFM: only 2 days til we go on our holiday ......................... and counting down. :-)

Hi everyone,
Well my baby finally has a name...
Her name is Danicia Kohana Kelly
I'm lodging her birth certificate today. I consulted with lots of people and overall Danicia had the most support and I was mostly swayed by the fact that my daughter gave it an 8 out of 10 and my other shortlisted name was "less than 1 out of 10". She still hasn't shown much interest in her baby sister so I'm hoping that atleast if the baby has a name she likes it might help. She also helped choose her middle name which is Japanese and my daughter is learning Japanese. In fact she is currently finding out about doing a student exchange to Japan for one term next year. I feel really nervous about that as she will only be 15.
Lori (38)
Ashalyn (14) and Danicia (almost 2 weeks)

Lori: yipee for choosing a name. i really like that one. i just wish my DH and i could agree on a name . grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
i hope things are settling down for you and bub.
don't worry about your daughter not being that interested in bub, you do remember that the universe revolves around "ME "when you're 14 and no one else matters. lol. but a little true . keep up the good work.
you sound like you had a labour like i usually have. aren't they nice. another big congrats to you on the birth of another daughter. x o
AFM: i will be in QLD tomorrow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yipee for a holiday. i am so so excited about it. better finish packing now. oops
chat soon to all
when i get back and have a tan ( NOT) lol

Hi everyone!
I am here!! ****!!!! =O still in shock!
but had my blood test today and my bHCG is 213 =)
this was our 2nd ISCI cycle, our 3rd t/f. this time we had day 2 embryos put in (all our others were 5 days).
*breathes* I guess the big thing is now what do I do...taken 2 years of active trying (10 years of longing and wanting and being ready) to get here....now what???
-
Teirae - Congratulations! Lol - I had exactly the same problem when I finally got the bfp - I'd read every book on ttc and felt I knew the ivf world inside out. Actually being pregnant though... no idea! I guess your first step (after a few big breaths :) ) is deciding if you want to go public or private, and if you go for private, work out where and who soon, they can fill up fast. And make an appt with your gp in the meantime since your clinic will probably send you on your way without further instruction as soon as you've had your dating scan/s :) All the best x
mhb - You're getting so close :) Hope the scan goes well, pain about the cost!
Loops - Good luck tomorrow!
afm - Off to the dentist today, hopefully nothing to fix but I've had some aching teeth the last couple of days. fx it isn't my wisdom teeth - my mum had to get hers out while pg, apparently hormones can set them off. I've been semi intending to get them removed for years, but had intended to be knocked out for the duration - don't want to be having it done in the chair!
-
Tentatively saying hi... Teirae glad to see you in here too :). Are you due the 22nd? If so we are either due the same day or one day apart.
-
=) I'm due 23rd. yea I was looking at your dates and thought hey we are the same =)
