Nope I was the same! Obssessive knicker checker in 1st tri thinking AF was going to arrive, then obssessive knicker checker in 3rd tri to see if anything was happening yet!! But as always, if you're worried go see your Dr.

Kar, thats great that ur obgyn is nice. I bought an 'AngelSounds fetal doppler' from fertility naturopath (changed ebay name to auctiondrop...) for $62 + $13 post in nov (gfriend paid full price on their website), recommended by friend & I loved it. Will sell after having #2 so wont be much out of pocket.:)

On the cramps - it is your uterus expanding for the first time. You may also have a sore ovary - they are very busy supporting your bub at this stage until you grow the placenta.

We all sound like over anxious mums. I too was worrying a bit too much. I thought I was losing my symptoms. Less Nausea to none. I booked myself in for my 4th blood test since I found I was pregnant to reassure myself that my hormone levels were rising. Well they are 123 thousand so I guess I should relax. Is there a point where it stops doubling every 48 hours. I just found that in a week and a half it went up from 50 thousand to 123 thousand which is in the 8 week range but hasn't jumped as much as I was expecting. It is terrible knowing too much.
Danni I hope you are feeling a bit better. Which hospital have you booked into? I have booked into St Vincents.

Your HCG does slow down...not sure when, I think after it hits 60 thousand? Then it sort of goes on to plateau, I believe. Lack-of-sleep muddled brain, so I may be wrong, and anyone please correct me if I am!
