I thought about it Sheree, but definitely way out of our price range.
I thought about it too but it is expensive and we just dont have that kind of money right now :( I would donate bub's cord to the public bank IF they had one here but they dont.
Its def something they should have, the public storage banks so everyone donates and everyone has a chance to use it.
I thought that in WA you could bank your cord blood for medical use for others, but not for your own baby. Or something like that! I may be talking out of my a*se here! Lol!
Hey Sheree, are you going to sms me when baby arrives?
Morning everyone.
Any news?

Well I am back & we are all set for an induction next Wednesday (if my cervix is favourable) my swab came back positive for Strep B....so I have to start Amoxil on Monday morning then IV antibiotics once in hossy. I am a bit sad about it as I hate having a canular (sp?) in. My Ob said I can still be active in bath/shower etc but I know I will feel a bit restricted.
ANYWAY cheer squad is all set for Sheree's big weekend! Can't wait till that lil man makes his long awaited arrival!
Woohoo so Sheree's up...
Lea, the thing I hated most bout the canular/drip (GBS+induction)was the tubes werent very long, so hubby kept telling me to be careful, was still able to get around though, u'll be right.
