the anticipation is killing me Monnie, does not matter its closer than you think....very exciting Monnie.
Mstickles, I am looking at making a ourchase myself, I think it would be a good decision to do so, it will just give you a nice feeling that its really happening.
Good luck...
Day is so lovely here in Melb just perfect.

Good good good!
Wishing you the best Monnie - can't wait to hear all about little Ziggy.

Hi everyone,
Was visiting a while back but computer prob's have had me away for a few weeks...
Monnie so excited about your news for 2morrow morning. Big hugs for you, DH and zigstar, i bet it will be everything you have imagined plus more!!
To everyone else, your journey's continue to sound exhilerating - loved hearing about the familiar constipation theme!! It's so horrible isn't it. I'll be 12 weeks 2morrow and have never wished to have some regular toilet visits in my life. Have just started on the benefibre to have a bit of assistance in that department, am awaiting the 'benefits' at present. Otherwise, positively the m/s is slowly reducing in severity (though the thought of meat and cooking it still repulses me) which is really nice, DH has been so patient with me. I'm a terrible sick person, i'm amazed at his thoughfulness.
Anyway, am glad to be back online with you all.
-
Best of luck tomorrow Monnie. I can guarantee you we will all be thinking of you.
-
Monnie All the best for tomorrow hun. I'll have to wait until I get home from work to see your birth announcement. I'm so excited that this time tomorrow "Ziggy" will be safe in your arms :)
Kimbe I was wondering what had happened to you.Computers do have minds of there own at times don't they.
I understand what you mean about the meat thing. I've only just been able to start eating steak again this last week. I'm 28 weeks on Thursday so have been without it for quite some time.
Well I'm feeling heaps better tonight. Dh and I had our appointment with the bank and we've got everything sorted out and can put our plans into council to build our garage so that means it should be on its way to being built by the time our little boy arrives and he'll have a room without any of his daddys toys in it. I just hope the council doesn't take too long to approve everything now. I spoke to them today and I was told things are taking between 6 and 8 weeks to go through
I hope everyone is doing well.

Well I've been lurking for awhile now ... and it's fantastic to see everyone ticking along so well!!!
Monnie - WOW!!! Tomorrow's the big day. Now I know you won't see this until Ziggy is out in the world, but I'm just sending you all the luck in the world and imagining you all tucked up in your little hospital bed, whilst they prepare an extra bed for your gorgeous new arrival. Rest up, lap up all the love and support ('cause you deserve it and you'll certainly need it) and thank you once again for being such a wonderful inspiration. Enjoy every moment and can't wait to hear your wonderful annoucement!!!
Mako - Our next lady to make her way to the main stage!!! Glad to hear bub's won't be squashed in with Daddy's "Boy's toys" ... mind you if it's a boy he might feel mighty ripped off!!! Here's hoping council get's their butts into gear and give you approval quickly, and then you find a builder quickly too!!! I'm sure it'll all just fall into place ... right Monnie???
Lt Panda - How's life treating you??? Can't wait to hear what your next purchase will be ... I personally went and bought some lovely balls of wool for a layette today ... told myself it's for a friend who's due in April but we'll see! ;) ...
Kimbe - Comp problems are the worst ... especially when you live remotely like me!!! I had it down for a day and thought someone had cut my arm off ... PG hormones didn't help one iota and boy didn't the internet guy cop a serve! LOL ... glad you're back with us though and everything's trucking along great ...
Now I KNOW there's a ton more of you out there, and I just wanna say that even though PG brain's erased your names for the moment, it hasn't erased you from my heart ... I love lurking in here, just sucking up the love ...
Me - Well flew over for my OB's appointment and whilst I forgot to get him to sign my travel refund papers ... and bring my Dr's referral over ... everything else went great. I'm definately going to ask for a paid stopover though next time ... flying twice in one day does a PG lady in!!!
But the news is all good ... mum's fine and bub's fine ... right where he/she should be and we saw what we wanted to see ... a nice strong heartbeat of 165bpm ... we're floating on cloud nine right now 'cause that's the only thing we didn't see at the 6w scan ... Dr saw it but we didn't ... so we're feeling a tad more confident now ... Bring on the 12 weeks so we can shout it from the rooftops!
-
diva-n-dan - You sound great, I love it when we start to feel better and the mood is all good in here. its very pleasing..... I think I might go shopping this weekend and buy the first toy.
When is your 12 week up? will you have a scan then again?
Mako, great news on the bank approval, should have taken a lot of pressure of your back, hope the council speed things up, maybe if you go and mention the baby they may have pity on you and get the ball rolling much faster. Good luck with it.
Kimbe - congratulations on reaching 12 weeks. Its so good once we get over that mile stone. You also start to feel really good as well.
Looking forward to hearing from Monnie.
Does anyone have any advise on getting a solid night sleep. I get up every 3 hours to go the toilet, and than have a bit of water. I just wake up so sluggish, have no energy to get up and go to the gym.
-
How exciting I bet Ziggy is out in the big wide world by now. Thinking of you Monnie and can't wait for that special birth announcement.
Ltl Panda I say you should go out and buy that 1st toy hun. Remember once you start you won't stop lol. Sorry I don't know of anything to help with the sleep problems either. Maybe just try to relax in a nice warm bath just before bed. It won't help with the toilet trips though. It will get better soon for a while and then it will start up again(like mine has).
Diva Its good to see you are still thinking of us hun. I was wondering how your appointment went. I'm so happy that you got to see a lovely little heart beat too.
I just thought I'd let you know that I'm having a boy so he might feel a bit ripped off about his dads toys lol. I'm sure his daddy will be sharing before too long ;)
Oh and thanks for the reminder that I'm up next too by the way. I'm sure it will be here before we know it.I have to say that I'm quite excited and looking forward to the big day too.
Dh is going to build the garage along with my brother and a few mates. We also know a good concreter so atleast we have that side of things under control. It shouldn't take too long to happen once the council agree.
I hope you are all doing great.
-
Still haven't heard anything guys..........I'm sure they're caught up in the moment! The theatre could've been running late too. I have to go out in about half and hour, so I'm sorry, if I get the news after then you'll have to wait til I'm home! But I promise to post the BA as soon as I possibly can!
-
Twelve weeks will be around father's day (too cute!) but I won't be having a scan then ... sorta mucked it up a bit going to see him at 6w ... 'cause he likes one done evey month, so it was 6w, then we saw him at almost 10w, so the next one isn't until I'm about 14w ... but that's ok ... we had as much of a long talk as time would allow about the NT scan and we're going to give it a miss ... we've got a 1/870 chance of downs, with no family history as far as the eye can see ... so OB and I agreed it'd be a waste and anyhoo, it's one less test to stress over!!!
Definately going to tell our family on Father's day (too good an opportunity to miss!) and as for the rest of the world??? Unsure at the moment ... we're thinking maybe after the 14w scan just to be doubly, tripply, quadrupaly sure ...
Lt Panda - Go on .... buy that first toy ... y'know you wanna .... ;)
-
I have been convinced, a toy will be bought on the weekend.
Mako, that is right you are next, how exciting, it will be here before we realise.
-
Check out the birth announcements guys!
-
Thankyou Sez for letting us know about Monnie ;)
-
What a beautiful name, Love Love Love it.

Hi Ladies
Just wanted to pop in and say Hi to you all and I hope everyone is doing great.
I had a little bit of a bad experience today when I was out doing the grocery shopping. I was in the friut shop and a lady was picking some vegies off the shelf, her trolley was taking up most of the isle although there was a gap. I thought I'd go past her and the trolley through the gap and whammo I hit my belly really hard into the side of handle of the trolley OUCH!!!! I now have a big bruise and am quite sore in that spot. I guess I didn't judge the gap too well or my belly is obviously bigger than I thought :( I'm pretty sure bub is ok as he has been moving around a bit since then. I guess from now on I'll have to be much more careful.
Diva Not too long until fathers day hun. I bet your family will be over the moon with your news :D
-
Mako - hope your belly is feeling better, it's funny you should tell that story because over the last week or so I have knocked my belly too (obviously not to the extent you have to bruise) but I think it is just because we are not used to having a belly in the way & we do under estimate it, lol.
I am finding it a bit of struggle bending down atm which I'm sure you are too being a week ahead of me, although apparently I'm quite big at front because placenta is at the front but I honestly don't think it will be long before dh has to start shaving my legs!!!
Bikini line? I don't think I even have one of those because I can't see anything below anymore, LOL!!!
Diva-n-dan - I bet you can't wait till father's day what a perfect opportunity to tell everyone your wonderful news.
Ltl Panda - I wish I could give you some advice on a good night's sleep but I am having trouble with that too.
Hope everyone else is doing well.
Jo - 27 (treated endo)
Dh - 34
Second chlomid / IUI March 2007 - :bfp:
-
Jo I'm pleased to hear that I'm not the only one in here bumping their belly lol. I also hear you about the bending over thing too. I still get told on an almost daily basis that I'm tiny. This used to bother me but now I really don't care as I know that bub is healthy and my Ob is happy with the way things are going atm.
I think I'll have to start getting my legs waxed if I can't shave them at any point as dh wouldn't do that for me I don't think. And LOL at the bikini line :cryinglaugh: I get that waxed as I'm in the pool almost everyday for work so I don't want to scare the kids lol. Its funny cause the only way I can see that now is if I stand in front of a mirror lol.
-
Ouchhhh Mako, that would be so painfull, hope its getting better.
waxing, I am in a real need to have that done.
