Claire Congrats and welcome. I wish you all the best for the next 8 months.
Kotare All the best for your scan on Wednesday and I'm sure you can't wait to tell the "world". All the best with the move too.
Marcellas Don't feel bad about wearing trackies hun. I have to say that I pretty much live in them atm lol. Atleast I can wear mine to work too. Its a bit harder when the weather gets warmer though.
Sazz Don't feel bad about "personal" posts. Thats what we are here for hun. Who else would we feel free to talk too during our most difficult times? Its good to get everything off our chest and may I add, its very healthy. I also scroll down the page to see where everyone's up to and then do my personals. It makes it much easier.
I've had a busy day today. I had to work this morning and then I had a seminar to attend for work this afternoon. I have to say it was very boring and I was so uncomfortable. It was quite hot in the room and I just swelled up like a balloon. My boss couldn't believe how fast my fingers swelled and then the cankles happened again and they are still up tonight
I hope you are all having a great weekend and big belly rubs to you all ;)
-
Hey guys
Flying visit from me...sorry to be so quick...computer battery is about to go...
Doing well...Felix is doing wonderfully...we're getting there!!! YAYAY!!!
Sorry for no personals...just to let you know that I think of you all often and hope that everything is going well...
You chickies are one special bunch!!!
Oh...Felix's photo is in my ticker now!
Take care!
Monnie

Monnie, how special, would love to see more. Thanks for dropping by.
Mako, I really feel for you, I hate swelling, and you poor darling is a victim of it hard core. Hope things got better over the weekend.
Marcellus, totally agree with you on the fact that you have to wear baggy thing because of the bloating. Totally hated the fact I looked 4 months pregnant at 8 weeks.
Clairebear, welcome. I had a HCG level of 150 at 4 weeks (baby 2 weeks) so that looks good. All the best in the following 8 months.
Kotare, yay 12 week scan 2 more sleeps.
Sazzafrazz, how are you hun, hope you are doing well. Well I know you are, you just went away for the weekend…. Hope you got to relax.
Nothing much for me, just want bubs to move a little more and want the scan to happen now……
-
Hi girls, hope you all had a good weekend. I sure did! Lovely weekend away in adelaide. Relaxing, beautiful dinner, baby shopping, movie, etc. are you jealous yet? lol!
Mako, I think I will be like you with the swelling, you poor thing as my fingers and feet went up on saturday with the warm weather and lots of walking around the shops. What do you do to aleviate it? Just sit with feet up, cool down?
Monnie, beautiful little face on your little man, Felix. I bet you are besotted with him.
Marcellus, I know what you mean about the bloating and fitting into clothes, poor thing. I looked 7mths at 4 1/2 weeks! I hope you go down a little before you start going back up again.
Kotare, good luck with your scan, not long now. We will all be hanging out for the details when you get back online.
Welcome Claire, we call our friend Clarebear too!
Me: Have ordered a baby hammock, will pick up freebie cot soon, have car seat and bathstuff and ordered pram on the weekend plus we have decided on names... I think we are organised already!!! What will I do for the next 3 or so months??? hehe
Hi to everyone else!:)
-
Hi all,
You all sound well - with the exception of the swelling. I haven't had the swelling yet and fingers crossed it stays well and truely at bay, at least until final trimester when summer sets in!
My baby bump is now evident to me, all clothes are tighter and am struggling to find pants in the cupboard particularly, that i can wear comfortably all day without having to loosen the fly (iykwim). The old low hipster jeans are finding a way out of the back of my cupboard at present....not that jeans are ok at work, but they're just going to have to lump it till the school holidays when i can go to the maternity stores and get some things for the waredrobe - i figure by then, i'll have a better idea of belly growth rate and size etc.
Sazz - am jealous of your Adelaide weekend, i spent most of mine trying to stay warm from the wind and rain we had up my way! Though we did get out for some shopping, have a rocker now (man those things have changed!!) and nursery manchester, but its still early days for us so the big things we're going to wait for Christmas and post Christmas specials...am assuming there'll be some.
Ltl Panda - i can't believe you can feel bubba, i'm at 15 wks 2morrow and know it's gonna happen soon, i'm just hanging. Sometimes i'll be laying in bed at some ridiculous hour in the morning and think i feel something, but then, decide its just my body digesting dinner or dessert! It sounds wonderful the you can feel your little one moving around. I guess it gives you are sense of peace too that they're going ok.
Kotare, hope the move goes well...don't carry too many things and try to stay stress free despite house moving being a very stressful event!
Clairbear - welcome and congrat's on your news, you're more than welcome to come in a chat chat chat, that's all we do, share our bits (joys and not so joyous things), its a place you feel your not alone.
Hello to all those i've missed...take care.
-
Oh well, at least I'm not the only one. Most people don't show in the first trimester, and there I was looking 6-7 months along at 4 weeks, and now probably looking about 4-5months....so nearly caught up with myself!
Kotare - this is the perfect excuse to not lift a finger, or at least restrict yourself to 'organising' only. Will be looking forward to hearing all about your scan once you're back online as well.
It must be kinda hard to figure out what to buy/wear when you're 'in between' Kimbe. I've browsed in maternity wear and it all seems really huge - i mean for later on in pg. i guess i will have to find an alternative to trackies now it's getting warmer - hipsters are a good idea. Luckily I don't have to worry about work clothes.
Sazz it sounds like you're really getting organised now - good for you! And glad to hear you had a really good weekend too. I wanna do that...
Poor Mako - that sounds really horrible. Hope you can find some relief.
Hi Monnie - yes, Felix is adorable!
Hope everyone else is doing well
-
Monnie Its great to have you pop in and check up on us.
I'm so pleased that you and little Felix are doing well now and I have to say he's soooo very cute. I bet you just sit and look at him all day long.
Sazz Yeh you made me jealous with your lovely weekend away. I wanted dh and I to have a weekend away before bub arrives but thats not going to happen as I have to work every weekend :( Dh is away again this weekend (he's so lucky lol).
Good on you for being so organised now. It makes it all seem so real once we start buying baby things and deciding on names etc.
Kotare All the best for your scan hun.
Kimbe Good luck with the mat clothes shopping hun. Its so hard finding comfy clothes to wear. I have done really well and only bought 1 pair of mat jeans, 1 pair of 3/4 cargos and a few tops. I know of a few people who haven't bought any mat clothes, just a belly belt and some longer loose fitting tops.
Ltl Panda I'm sure it won't be too long before you'll be feeling bubs move ALL the time. When is your next scan?
Dh and I had our 2nd antenatal class last night. It was a bit better than last week as we got to tour the birthing suite which was good as now I know whats there and whats not.
Bub has been very active still poking his head out to one side quite often lol and doing tumble turns and huge kicks. Sometimes it takes me by suprise when he moves quite quickly.
I have to have my GD test tomorrow. Am a bit nervous about that one though.
Hi to all I have missed. I hope you are doing well and big belly rubs to you all.
-
Ok, sorry, but I have to have a whinge...
I've been sitting around (well working, but anyway) waiting for my specialist to return my call for 2 days now... I'm on thyroid hormone replacement and the last test was not good (cause of IVF etc) and had to increase my dose. so, due for another test 6 weeks later. which i did. then i called in to get the results and he was on holiday for 2 weeks. Well, i thought, that's fine, everyone has to take holidays, i can wait. considered going to gp and getting another test, but thought, no, i'll be patient... he was back at work yesterday and i've been calling his receptionist... to no avail. I need to know what my levels are now!!!! it's stressing me out.
I'm sure he's busy and stuff, but god, it's like 2 minutes of his time. and he told me not to make an apt, but to call in... if my levels are off again i'm going to be so ****ed... not to mention worried about the damage to Jelly.
Sorry, just really needed to vent.
-
Marcellus, you have all right to be upset, this is your health and you need answers now. Hope you get your results today, keep us posted.
Mako, so jealous you are already ate the stage where you are feeling a lot more that little flutters. I am glad you’re antenatal class went well and that you got to see the birthing suite.
Kimbe, totally agree with the in-between stage, too big for our own clothes and too small for maternity. I have a ball on this Sunday and totally stuck with what to wear.
and Sazz, yes I am very jealous, weekend away sound very good.
Have an appointment with the Hospital doctor tomorrow and hopefully they will book in my 19-20 week scan.
-
Ltl Panda Don't be jealous hun as it won't be very long until you are feeling all the movements and kicks etc too. My full on movements started around the 20 to 22 week mark. All the best for your appointment tomorrow.
Marcellus Did you speak to your Dr today? If not maybe you could just go to his rooms tomorrow if you get a chance and ask his receptionist to give you the results(not that you should have to do this).
I had my GD test done today and I'm feeling really tired now. Apparently this is a normal reaction. I won't find out the results until next Wednesday when I see my Ob again. I just hope everything is ok.
I've also come down with a cold AGAIN. This is the 4th time since I've been pregnant.I can't believe how low my immune system is.
Hello to you all and big belly rubs all round :D
-
Thanks guys
Doc finally called last night. Everything is fine so got myself worked up and worried about nothing. Can relax now until the next 'thing'. pg hormones don't help with neuroses etc...
Poor Mako - hope this cold isn't too bad or last too long. Also hope your test results are ok - that test sounds yucky.
All the best for your apt tomorrow Ltl panda.

Hi
Am very excited a close girlfriend has just announced she is 8.5wks pg. She had hinted a few weeks back when i was talking of m/s but didn't confirm anything until bloods. She's in country VIC so getting an appointment took a while. Ironically, she has her 12wk ultrasound on the same day as my 20wk, so its going to be so enriching sharing this unexpectedly with someone so close.
Oh and the m/s i thought was gone, well, not completely girls. The other night i was sitting there with DH having a simple meal and half way through, meal was over and into the bathroom. Does that happen to you guys? It was very frustrating. DH just laughed and called me bulemic...now its Mic for short, he laughs everytime. Hmmmmm. as for me, i'm now swearing off corn.
Otherwise, things are going well, aeroplane jelly early each morning and then vegi toast, wont condone it once bubba is hear, but s/he is learning all the wrong order on food intake.
Marcellus - Glad you got positive healthy results. Your stress and nerves where justified, it's just a shame your GP didn't realise the extra pressure they were putting you under at this stage of your pg.
Mako - bugger about another cold, it's just one thing after another isn't it (i thought we were mean't to be glowing right about now!!)
Ltl Panda - i am on the count down to the 20wk ultrasound too, i so can't wait to see bubba on the screen again. Hope your check up went well today and that you got the appointment booked.
To everyone else, big hugs!
-
Kimbe How exciting to be able to share your pregnancy journey with your friend. I too have a very close friend who's little boy is due on Christmas day. Its great being able to share our experiences together.
I have to laugh about the areoplane jelly inthe morning. You do whatever it takes to settle your tum.
Ltl Panda How did your appointment go hun?
Marcellus I'm so pleased your results are all good hun. That must be a huge weight lifted from you. Take care and try to relax a bit now ;)
As for me this cold has knocked me about for the last couple of days. I had a day off work yesterday but wen't back today.
Bub is moving heaps which is great. I love feeling him kick and roll etc.
Dh is away for the weekend so I'm thinking I may head to my fav Thai resaurant to grab some takeaway for dinner tonight. Although I do know that won't help with the indigestion but nothing else seems to help either. Oh well something yummy for dinner sounds good and also the fact that I don't have to cook lol.
Hello to everyone. I hope you all have a good weekend :D
-
Mmm Thai sounds good! I think we are having chinese tomorrow when the rellies come over...
Isnt it great when you get to do the pregnancy thing with a close friend? My friend has just had her 3rd last weekend and it was wonderful to visit them in hospital knowing it will be our turn soon, not feeling sad and depressed about our journey anymore!! Two more friends due before me but not really close ones.
Bugalugs is moving much more strongly now and I can feel the big kicks on the outside of me but DH is never around at the right moment so he is yet to feel it, poor DH, he is hanging out for it. When we see each other at the end of the day he asks how "We" are, not just me.
Person at work who is known for saying the wrong thing today said "how far along are you? Cause you are definately walking like you're pregnant now!" Gee thanks I said! lol. I told her it is because I am tired at the end of the working week and I'm not always that bad. It is funny how everyone likes to comment on your size or waddle or skin or whatever...
Hope you all have a good weekend and hope you are feeling better Mako and Marcellus. Glad you got your results back, finally.
big hugs from Saz
-
Hi girls,
Hope you are all feeling totally nauseous or getting heaps of belly kicks!:)
We seem to always need constant reassurance eh?
I have been feeling sick on an off and just had my 5 WK BT.....the nurse said it wasn't good news but not totally bad news either....
My 4 wk hcg was 156.....now 1 week later it's only 400....so definitely not doubling.....nurse said I will just have to wait until next Bt in a week to know for sure!I have cried my eyes out,am torturing myself as to wether I still feel sick, am looking at my beautiful daughter and thinking just be happy with what you've got.....just really don't know how to feel.
Why does this have to be so hard every single step of the way......
Hugs to you all..... and wishing each and every one of you a healthy 9 months.
Claire.xx
-
Sazz The thai food was yummy. I had it last night and then the left overs tonight. I haven't had it for months and months so I really enjoyed it.
Hope the chinese was great too.
It sure is great to have someone to share our pregnancy with isn't it.
Your little "bugalugs" sounds like mine lol. My dh has only felt him move once or twice at the most. Every time I get dh to put his hand on my belly our cheeky little guy stops moving. This can get a bit annoying for dh at times and also for me as I just want dh to be able to experience the movements too. Oh well bub has the last say at the end of the day I suppose.
Claire Hang in there hun. Make sure you take things very easy over the next few days/ weeks. I'm praying that all will be ok for you and your precious little bub. Atleast your HCG has gone in the right direction even if its not quite doubling yet. Take care and know that I'm thinking of you ;)
I think the nesting thing maybe starting to kick in. When I was washing the dishes I had the urge to clean out my kitchen cupboards. I haven't done these to this extent since we moved here 7 years ago lol. During that time I have done the quick clean out occasionally but not to the point of pulling everything out and repacking and cleaning all the pots and pans and cleaning out the drawers too.Oh well everything looks fresh and clean now. I wonder what will be next. Maybe the oven or the linen cupboard or our bedroom
I'm still not feeling the best and I have lost my voice too. Such fun trying to teach kids how to swim this morning with no voice lol.
I hope you are all having a good weekend.
-
Hi all...how you guys doin?
Mako...thanks so much for your reply, hope you're feeling a little better after the weekend. Pregnancy sure is great for getting those jobs done around the house you've put off for YEARS eh!!;)
I am feeling a bit better, tying to stay positive and hang in there.Just gotta accept it no matter what the result.....only 4 more days to go to BT.Was totally sick this morning, but am afraid I'm making myself feel sick cause I want this so bad!Crazziness...the whole thing.
Was good to go to work today,my boss has been so terrfic through all this....we had a laugh which helps. Hey how sad was Idol last night.....def not up to standard!( Sorry totally off track....hehe)
Hope you are all getting Homer type bellies every day!:D
hugs,
Claire
-
Hi ladies, I was hoping I could join you. I have been lurking for a couple of weeks and was reluctant to join until I hit the safety net of 12 weeks but have just had my 5w HCG bt which came back at 6092 (my 4w was 422 so doc is very happy) and after commenting to my friend I was having no symptoms, found myself dry wrenching over the loo.....so I guess its real now
Claire - It looks like we will be due around the same time, it will be nice to go through this with someone....and I agree with Mako at least your HCG results are going in the right direction....we are all different so try not to worry.
Anyway I just wanted to pop in and say hi, I hope to get you know you all a lot better soon :D
Lis x
-
Hello girls, It looks like everyone is staying positive.
Lismith25, congratulations, may your dreams and wishes come true for the little one.
Clairbear, never lose hope, stay positive its all that matters.
Mako, it does look like you are nesting, sounds like you just wet crazy with the cleaning.....at least it all clean.
I am feeling ok, little worried as I have not felt movement for a few days.... got my referral for my 20 week scan so 4 Oct here we come.
-
Lis Congratulations and welcome to this great thread hun. I want to wish you all the very best for your pregnancy.
Clairbear Not long to go until your next b/t. I'm sure all will be ok with your precious one. Take care and "enjoy" that morning sickness. Its a very reassuring sign that all is going well ;)
Ltl Panda October 4 isn't too far away hun but if you are worried at all remeber that you can go to the emergency or to your GP to get checked out. Don't be affraid to go to either of these places as they see preggie ladies all the time and I say its better to know that everything is ok rather than sitting and being worried. It doesn't help you or bub ;)
Dh and I went to our 3rd class last night. It was the first of the parenting part and that was a bit more fun. Dh had to put a nappy on a doll which I have to say he did a great job. Maybe a little different when it comes to a real baby who's wriggling around lol.
I'm still not feeling well but I'm hoping the antibiotics kick in soon. The dr told me 48 hours and thats well and truly past. I have to go to my Ob tomorrow morning so I'll see what she has to say. I also have my 32 week scan next Monday. Its all so very close now. I can't wait to meet my little man :D
Hello to Diva, DJTTC, Sazz, Kotare, Marcellus,Kimbe and anyone else I've missed. I hope you are all doing great.
-
Welcome and congratulations Lismith25! Always nice to see new people over here.
Hope you're doing ok Claire - we'll be hanging out for your next BT with you.
Mako, your little man is going to be here in no time! Hope he cooperates better next time your DH tries to make contact ;)
MMM and Thai food.... what a great idea. DH was just on the phone wondering what we should do for dinner - now I know
Would be really great to have a pg friend...
I did my tax return today and am so chuffed that my bill turned out much less than i'd thought (or feared i spose). now we're gonna buy a car!
Anyway, hope everyone is doing well. I'd better get back to work
-
Hi everyone, thought I'd try to make the thread go back over this way again lol!
Welcome Lis, thats great news about your bloods.
Hope youre going ok Claire.
Mako, I bet you are getting excited that things are so close.
Marcellus, hope you feel better soon.
Happy 6months to me today!!! Feel as though there is so far to go still yet getting close if you KWIM?
Hello to everyone else, really truely hope everyone is going well and growing nicely!
Had a midwifes appt cancelled for tomorrow which is a real bummer but still seeing the GP... looking forward to finding out how much the fundal measurement has grown, I'm pretty sure it has been a big growth since a month ago. And I get to hear little heartbeat again too.
Went to a christening on the weekend for my two nephews and that was nice. The baby was grooving to the singing in church, maybe we need to go every week since s/he liked it so much!
-
Hey guys
Hope you are all doing well...
Mako...I can't believe you are 32 weeks next week...how wonderful!!!
Sazz...congratulations on 6 months...very exciting! Felix also loved grooving to music whilst in my belly...and still enjoys it now!
Marcellus...good news on the tax!!! Have you had your Ob. appointment yet?
Ltl Panda...20 weeks...wow! I know that Felix's movements were pretty erratic initially...so I'm sure that's the same with your little one...
Claire and Lis...congratulations!
Big hello to DJTTC, Kimbe and Kotare...
Hope I haven't missed anyone...if so...very sorry!!!
Felix and I are doing well...EXCEPT last night I fell down the stairs whilst holding him!!! He's totally fine (motherly instincts must have kicked in and I didn't let go of him) but I've now twisted my ankle!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!
Oh well! Apart from that...things are going really well...love our little boy very much...he truly is a joy...even at 2:30am!!!
-
Hi everyone,
I totally cannot do personals as its been awhile since I've been on.
Work has just been so busy with it being my last two weeks & of course someone's on hols because I am leaving so it's just crazy.
I would have thought my last month of work would be a gradual slowing down of pace but this month turns out to be my busiest month!
One good thing is Dh & I went down south last Fri & Sat night & stayed at a beautiful resort which was bliss.
I was actually feeling quite sick but it was still good just to get away from everything.
Had b/hicks for the 2.5 hour car trip & thought oh no what if I go into labour down here.
Of course I didn't but it didn't stop the contractions, still having them constantly.
Advice for any of you girls planning on having a weekend or more away before bubs is born, do it before you're too big & exhausted I could not of handled it much later on in my pg (I guess of course unless you're glowing & feeling wonderful, does anyone actually feel like that?).
I truely hope everyone is feeling well & most of all happy.
Jo - 27 (treated endo)
Dh - 34
Second chlomid / IUI March 2007 - :bfp:
-
Monnie, so glad you dropped by to say hi..... so happy that you are bot doing good other than the fact you busted your ankle.... ouch. I hope it will not cause you too much grief.
-
Monnie OUCH!!!! with your ankle. You poor little chook. I hope its better very soon. You sound so very happy hun. And little Felix is sounding great too. I can't believe he's 4 weeks old now. Where has the time gone????
Jo I'm sorry that you are having such a busy time at work. Its not too long now untill you are finishing up so try and hang in there and know that you'll be a lady of leisure in no time ;)
Good on you for getting away for the weekend. I bet you had a lovely time.
I just had my Ob appointment and all is going well. I'm so relieved as I don't have gestational diabetes which I'm very happy about. Bubs heart beat was nice and strong, and B/P was also good. So overall everything is great. Bub is laying across my tum still but thats ok with me for a while lol.
I can't believe how fast the time is going 32 weeks tomorrow!!!!!
Hi to everyone :D
-
Hi all,
Glad to hear you are going well now Monnie except for your poor ankle!! I bet it scared the living daylights out of you falling while holding Felix.. well done on preserving him though!!!!
Hi Jo, glad to see you again and good on you for having a weekend away. Sorry you were feeling crap the whole time but nice to get away all the same I guess. Good advice for the rest of us.
Catch up with you all later tonight after my GP apt I hope.
Bellyrubs to you all!

Love n'hugs,
Claire

Hi guys,
Glad to see everyone is doing OK - I had my appointment last night and as always a big relief to see heartbeats. Do people who this comes easy to feel the same way?
Nothing really exciting happening here - lots of people talking about the mums who are suing over getting IVF twins to me. They don't know I had IVF at work (I moved to Sydney when I was 5 weeks) and you should hear the misconceptions people have about it, its so hard for me to bite my tongue. I kind of feel like I'm letting the team down by not telling them some of the facts.
Anyway, hope you are all well. Sorry for no personals.
PS Claire - I hope you are hanging in there - I have all my fingers crossed for you. XXXX

Hi All,
As you know we moved, and broadband is not up and running yet. I got a dial-up account working, but it's very slow, so i won't be correcting any typos!!
Had 12 week scan whihc was fabulous, but sad too, as i we found out we lost a baby at 8 weeks. We didn;t know, but i am still struggling a bit with that news. DH is not willing to talk about it as he only sees the one happy, healthy bub that is still there. I will come to terms i'm sure and maybe when things quieten down here (at home) i might put my thoughts down in one of the other forums.
My sister is still staying and looks be to settling in for a while - it's hard on me and DH as she seems to be making herself really really at home. She has taken over 2 bedrooms (there are only 3 in the house!), and moves things around to suit her. Maybe i should be writing all this down in another forum too!!! IYKWIM! I guess i am getting pregnancy hormones.
Hope you guys are all well and i will try to catch up with everyones news - although dial-up is certainly making it very very slow.
Jo

Hi girls,
You all sound great which is so nice to hear.
Monnie, so nice to hear from you. Sorry to hear about the fall, that must have been a little daunting at the time. Good to hear Felix was well protected by you!
Ltl Panda, i'm still not feeling any movements and am only a week behind you, so dont stress to much matey, i'm sure bubba's playing tricks on you!!
Lis - welcome and congrat's isn't it so wonderful to hear the news of the bt result, and yeah, the hanging out with the toilet despite being yucky can also be reassuringly delightful - enjoy :)
Mako - glad to hear about the GD, i've only just read about it all and those tests and it sounds pretty risky, so i'm glad your all good - not to mention oh so close to your little man coming into the world
Marcellous - good luck on the car buying, it's such an arduous task isn't it, but also fun to be in something new - even second hand is new given they generally do that whole overall detailo and smell thing. Enjoy the search...will it be the family wagon??
For me, had my first appointment with the midwives at the hospital on monday arvo and it was so nice. Got the big show bag of goodies (i didn't know we all got that!) and have been reading something every night - found a page in one brochure that says not to stop DH from doing anything to help out - i read it out to him and had a good laugh, as it now allows me to allow him to do the breaky in bed, household chores and all the wonderful things he already does guilt free!
We heard the heart beat again which was great, it was so loud and racing away, it made me a little more reassured given i haven't felt any movement yet...am waiting with baited breath for that first flutter. Did get told i had very low blood pressure which they would need to monitor closely, but that's better that high blood pressure, so i am not too concerned just yet.
Over the weekend, we also went in and put some nursery furnishings on lay-by - cot, mattress and changetable. That was kinder cool, cause we were just looking and comparing prices but decided the bargin was too good not to get now! We are a little undecided on the whole pram issue - we've picked out the brand and style we prefer but it comes in either a 3 or 4 wheeler and i just don't know - would love to hear what you're all doing on the pram front and why.
Anyway stay well - hi to those i haven't spoken with.

Mako - so happy to hear that everything is all good with your tests & bubs is still staying put.
Clairbear - welcome & I hope your 2 sleeps go quickly for you (by the way I am 31 weeks).
Clare - it really is hard to bite your tongue sometimes when pp can be so ignorant, they just have no idea unless they have gone through it.
Kotare - hugs to you, even though you didn't know you were having twins it still must be hard for you but I am so glad that your other bub is safe & sound.
Monnie - hope you are doing ok after your fall.
Kimbe - good on you for purchasing a few things, its fun but totally confusing at times.
Hi to everyone else.

Hey, Monnie the hero, well done! I had my first OB apt a few weeks ago, and will see him again in another four. He was nice. just had a quick chat and a look at baby and that was that - not much else to do at this stage;)
Scooby & Claire, hoping you guys get some good news tomorrow!
Kotare, that must have been such a shock. But it's good news that your baby is doing well. Hope you and DH are doing ok.
Happy shopping Kimbe (and anyone else buying for bubs). I have low blood pressure too. Was wondering if it'd be a problem. I guess if I start fainting I'll find out
Great news on your test Mako - good to hear everything is going well.
How're you feeling Jo? still busy? BH still bugging you?
Good news on the heartbeats Mistickles. Do you hear them both at the same time, or do they separate them somehow?
Ok, know I"ve forgotten people, hope everyone else is doing well.
On me, i'm thinking a sedan for a car (only one kid on the way after all), but no idea what. anyway, it'll be exciting to buy something (hopefully) made this century. And not getting a tax refund - a bill! but not as a big a bill as i thought it might be. First time out as self-employed person, so really wasn't sure.
Anyway, catch you all later

Kotare I'm sorry about your loss hun. Please take care of yourself and the little one who's tucked away nice and tight in your tum. Also please know that men deal with these things differently to us women. They may seem to be unaffected by this but know that they are greiving too. Just make sure that you keep talking to each other and all will be ok ;)
Claire How did you go today? Do you have your results yet?
Kimbe Its such a big decision when buying things for bub. There is so much stuff out there hey? Just make sure you get things like the pram that will be practical for your needs. I personally went with a Beema Q which is a 3 wheeler pram. Its one of the very few approved by Choice magazine for its safety features etc. Its only available from babyco.
Monnie How is your ankle coming along? Hope you and Felix are ok.
Nothing exciting going on here atm.

Hey everyone,
Hope your all having a nice weekend, we're off to Powderfinger/Silverchair concert tonight should be interesting to see how I go!
Marcellus - I have to pay tax too, $500 so not too happy with that.
Saw my Dr yesterday & obviously he can't say if bub will come early or not but when I asked if I should pack my bag he said yes so I will do that next week when I finish work.
I am still having soooo many b/h contractions it's getting ridiculus & Dr said if I'm getting them so often now a second bub will be worse!!!!
Anyway all is good with bub she is still head down ready to go & doesn't look like she's moved since my appointment 3weeks ago & he said she will stay put now.
He also said her size is about average which is a relief because every customer I serve lately has an opinion on that I am so tiny, for my normal size I am quite big but they don't know me I guess so it's a relief to know that everything is all good.
I nearly had a meltdown at work on Thursday because this week everything that could go wrong did go wrong & I just so wanted to enjoy my last couple of weeks of work with the girls but it has been horrible.
Hopefully next week my last week will be a bit better.
I almost quit & walked out of work, you know it's pretty bad being nearly 8 months pg having to deal with major stresses at work & your boss just letting you deal with it, you think she'd help out a little.

Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all happy and getting bigger bellies!:)
Well I had my BT and hcg went up to 1200 from 400 last week. The nurse told me that they are dissapointed with the results and are not holding out much hope for a positive outcome.I have to wait again and go for another bt and scan at the clinic next wed.I am so sad about it all and totally emotionally drained,God I wish it didn't have to be such a struggle,it's really not fair.
I am still feeling sick and was holding out so much hope that it would be all perfect this time....I think a little part of me just won't accept it's all over until I see no heartbeat on that screen. the hardest part is that this is it...no more embryos equals no more chances!
I feel so heartbroken for Dh and DD and a complete bloody failure as a woman.
Anyway,I am truly grateful for what I have,I am so lucky and blessed in so many ways!:)
Hope you all stay well and wishing you fantastic pregnancies!
Hugs,
Claire

Oh no I am so sorry Claire....and send you a big hug:hugs:
It must be awful waiting again.....but I guess if there is still a chance it will work out, then you have to hold onto that tightly.....it really isnt fair that this process is so hard....especially after the slog to get here!!
I will be thinking of you and I have my fingers crossed you will be one of the ladies who succeed regardless of what the nurses say....and am sending lots of positve vibes for wed :goodluck:
Big Love Lis xx

Claire - my heart really goes out to you, and i wish i knew what to say to help you. Be kind to yourself, and it really is OK to feel all those angry and sad etc emotions.
Jo (DJ) - you are having a time of it at work by the sounds. At least bubs is OK and raring to go, but still - you should be winding down and not getting stressed out. Some people are inconsiderate and rude, aren't they? I can't believe they are discussing your own body - it's downright offensive.
Had an interesting chat with my Dad yesterday (my parents live in NZ). He is not telling anyone about me being pg, as he said the last few years have been a nightmare with everyone saying 'oh, poor you, you'll never be a granddad, and your kids are selfish/career focussed etc etc.' I used to get those comments (all the time, as i'm sure you all did too!) - but he never told me that HIS colleagues and 'friends' used to say it too! It makes you just wanna scream, aye. He said that they don't deserve to know.
Yay to you Kimbe for buying things - how cool. I don't know where to start, so i'm putting it all off until i sit my exam in November - then i can put my mind to prams and all the other things.
Hi to everyone and thanks for all your kind words.
Jo
