I know how you feel and all I can say is have hope! The good thing is that you know you can have a baby as you have to beautiful boys (according to your sig). I am really holding out for you that this one sticks!!! :)

Oh DG. fingers crossed and try not to lose hope. As others have said 6 weeks is very early, most often too early to see much at all, much less pick up a heartbeat. That as well as the fact that the machine an OB uses in their office is pretty rudimentary and cannot pick up the level of detail unlike a high tech machine at an ultrasound clinic.

Oh DG, i know with DD3 they needed to do a scan at 6weeks to make sure it wasnt another ectopic, i remember before the scan the DR saying "now you know we probably wont see a HB" i was all "thats ok, ill just be happy to see that its in the right spot"

PIGS BOTTOM i was!

As i had seen DD2 HB at 5weeks something on U/S i was sure that there must be something wrong if they hadnt been able to see anything this time!

Thank goodness i was wrong, but the wait til that 8 weeks scan, then 12....then 18....Um actually pregnancy after loss just sucks balls....

Its stressful its horrible, but we all know in the end its worth it!

I spoke to my Obs late this afternoon about being worried and he said I could have the scan next week instead, so that I will re-book first thing in the morning. Fingers crossed this bub holds on and shows itself next week.

Glad to hear you're having the scan next week and not having to wait a fortnight. Hang in there. I have everything crossed for you that this bub is the one that's meant to be. This is all so much more stressful than it should be :comfort:

Oh DG, I'm so sorry you are going through this difficult time. I glad you are able to have your scan next week - although I know that next week will still seemway too far away. Praying that this little one will be your precious 'earth baby'.:hug:
