Kbudgie hope the next few weeks fly seeing bubs does make a difference
Me4 days off work bliss :)
Mel can't hurt to speak with your ob or GP depression is common in pg although you've also had heaps going on
Duches those morning are awful I hope the afternoon got better. My DS for ages every time plane went over that's wher our dead dog lives and when nanas dog died they are together lol cute but I wonder if flying again may prove interesting
Glad you past you icky date Lyra no gender finding out for me. Are you buying things now?
Damprye I wish I could get behind on house work pg makes me a tad over the top, especially with dust and the carpet
Me very tired DS up at crack of dawn and DF kept me up last night. Sleep in tomorrow :leap: the dam job I want at work still isn't advertised. I'm going crazy. But good things come to those who wait right? DS drew a picture of squirt looks like mr messy lol definitely a keeper. Going to laminate a scan picture for DS to take to child care I told them two weeks ago DS told them two months ago lol.
Hugs Melster! It could just be the fact that it's the pregnancy hormones playing havoc. They definitely do their bit here :$
Damprye - I hope they put it up quickly! I don't know what's going on either... Poor DS2 - hope he feels better soon. In regards to cleaning, I'm pretty lucky with being a part timer, but even with my extra days off I don't always get the housework done. Vacuuming is definitely not high on the list, but as long as my toilets, sinks in the bathroom, kitchen is cleaned up daily, washing done (clothes, towels, sheets) once a week, and stuff is generally packed away daily as well. It does help not having kids yet to muck it up again! I try to do a few things each day and then it means that I don't have to do it on the weekend when hubby has got time off work.
Greenslw - Hope you find a chance to have a rest today. Sounds cute, your son's drawing - maybe scan/take a pic and put it on the FB belly buddy page :) Fingers crossed the job gets advertised soon!
Lyra - Great to hear you've passed the 12 week 5 days! It's nice you can have a go at listening to your little one with the doppler. I had considered one in the past, but am just worried it will stress me more if I can't hear the heartbeat - possibly because I'm holding it in the wrong spot...
AFM 2 more sleeps and hopefully we'll be able to see a happy bub! I can't wait now. We'll be sooooo nervous come the appointment. DH is not feeling too flash at the moment, he suspects it might be the flu :$ I hope he will keep it all to himself, no sharing, please :)
Dopplers can be very stress inducing. My friend cannot find the hb on hers and she is maybe 1/3 my weight whereas I can usually find mine within seconds. Anterior placentas make it even harder as well. Judging by the sounds I get, my placenta is up the top but will ask Wednesday.
Lyra glad everything's going well and u have past ur milestone. I just had a 3 d scan at 16 weeks and I'm having another girl
Thankyou Damprye. I had post natal depression for about six mths after my 1 st dd.... More shock of having a baby I think and how it impacted my life. Second dd I was fine...i might have to start asking or maybe talk to someone to see. I'm not sure if it's external factors or more than that but I know I don't feel to good. I want to be heathy for myself and the kids. And things just keep getting lumped on me. I know I have never been good with this hormones ..... Not with all 3....
Get a house fairy :) my hubby hasn't been pulling his weight as he is finishing something off with his project .. But never has been that fantastic and all I feel I do is clean and then yell...... And pick up... I am not as on top of it .... Spend all morning ironing...... There's no real easy fix when you work and have kids and ate pregnant, the easiest way is yet stay on top of it do then it's not as hard. The first bit is ... But after that it's easier. Do you have someone you know who cleans and doesn't charge that much ? A younger family member wanting to make some cash? Can you get someone to take kids while you clean. What about a set roster that you right up and do on specific nights ??? Can someone help with the first major clean ?
That's good about the mrs
Thanks Greenslw
Thanks me4ever... Yea those hormones defiantly send me a bit cray cray.. They have all 3 pregnancies. It just sends me a bit uncontrollable...a bit jumpy and get quiet angry... External factors defiantly don't help.. The only time I get really effected is if I get frustrated with the kids...
I'm do tired. Last few nights think I have fallen asleep at 830 or 9 .. Wont b long tonight either. Hope dd s sleep ok
hi ladies,
reading through, but head still hurting, so sorry there's no personal replies.....
I am always behind on housework! feel like my house is never clean!
i have still got this sore head, can't afford to get a massage at the moment. It is easing now though..... Finally!
went to the baby shops and have figured out how to get 3 car seats in my car, so that's a big relief.....
sorry, I can't remember who asked, but yes I went early with both kids. Isabel I was in hospital from 35 weeks, had her at 38+2. Lucas was another emergency section at 37 weeks on the dot. So really hoping I can hold off until 37 weeks. I get pre-eclampsia and gestational diabetes, which caused some complications particularly with Lucas. Hence the reason that we were done at 2.... Medically I won't be able to work past 32 weeks if the same thing happens this time......
I'm lucky my eldest will be 7 early next year, means I don't have to stress about her carseat!
I drive a new beetle so only two seat belts in the back so miss 2 and bub will be back there and due to all seats being taken by younger children a child between 4 and 7 can sit in the front.
We will be in hubby's bigger car on weekends and mine is Mums taxi ;)
My youngest turns two tomorrow :)
I have 2 carseat-convertible-boosters and a booster in my sedan and they by no means small seats, they are bulky expensive ones but they sit really nice, even with the booster being on the side. I do love my Holden and its a pity I have to sell it as just because my 3 kids will fit, doesn't mean I want them next to each other lol. Plus I have DSD to think about to now. My friend claims 3 fits in hers fine but the booster has to go in the middle and even then the seats get all slanted... That's without the two others being convertible and are just plain carseats. And she wonders why I prefer to use my car for outings. I'm sorry but I care about safety lol. Just another 2k to get my 7 seater. Will be tough to do si in just 3 more weeks. Has taken over 2months to get 4k. Really hope my car sells soon :(
It totally depends on the kids and the carseats about what fits!
Because I drive a beetle we had already bought the slimmest seats available, and my pram only fits in the boot if you take a wheel off... But I've done it for 6 years now so I'll likely make myself cope...
My bigger stress is fitting bub into the house and like you finding money in short amount of time... Pregnancy management fee and school fees etc etc coming soon.
We will likely take Miss 6 out of private school at end of year to save some $$$
Mel big hug I remember after DS I was totally shocked at feeling blue after IVF and a dream pg I was not prepared for all that came my way DF and I almost split too. Big adjustments.
All this talk of car seets is anyone buying a capsule I borrowed one last time but was just. Thinking of using DS car seat rear facing.
V21 hope you feel better soon.
Me4 goodluck for tomorrow
Damprye you must be great with your Doppler I'm glad I didn't buy one but still curious
Me my sleepin was wonderful but DS is just feral ATM not sure why but put him to bed early tonight. Exhausted!
Greenslw - thanks! Am still pretty nervous. I'm glad you had a good sleep last night! That would help a bit in dealing with DS. Is it stormy near where you are? Or storms predicted in the next few days? That can influence kids behaviour sometimes?!
AFM Feeling very down at the moment. DH has the flu, our washing machine has broken down, I got quite upset as we weren't invited to an aunties 98th B'day afternoon tea, while partner's brother and sister in law were invited with their cute baby... Felt a bit left out and then got upset as it's nearly a year ago that I had a missed m/c. It doesn't help having the extra stress of the appointment tomorrow. All will probably be well, but just extremely worried that last years tragedy is repeating itself again. So have been crying on and off this arvo. I'm also pretty homesick for my family that are all overseas. (Or I'm the only one in Australia and am the one that moved away...) Wish they were a bit closer.
hi girls,
im finally biting the bullet and posting in here, every other time i have had to leave again after posting in here......for those who don't know my story i have a 7 year old daughter and 5 year old son and since then i have suffered 5 miscarriages :( They have all been between 6 and 10 weeks and we think due to chromosomal problems, my scans usually show bub to be measuring behind and with a slow heartbeat and by the next scan the heartbeat is gone.
last year we turned to ivf in the hope by looking at the embryos we could pick the best to go back and we had a pregnancy in march that ended the same as all the others :( so then we tried pgd (chromosome testing) and had 4 embryos tested and they were all abnormal, that was devastating to say the least, we then did 2 cycles of ivf to collect more embryos for the testing, that time we tested 10 and only got 1 normal one, that one seems to have stuck.
The last 19 weeks have been so incredibly stressful and i have wanted to live in denial land, I have already been diagnosed with gestational diabetes and im on insulin, i could have done without that complication after all the stress i have already had but i had it with my son so i kinda know what to expect.
i have my morphology scan on wednesday, i have been so worried about it sticking and not miscarrying that i haven't really stopped to think about the possibility of something being wrong, i hope all is fine because i cannot do this again, the stress is too great
i hope i get to stay here until our happy ending this time !
*hugs* minniemouse xx fx your only stress is the diabetes. xxx gl with the scan
Minniemouse good luck! Do you have any other conditions making the abnormalities? That is so stressful.
Today is DD2 2nd birthday.... So it's my other day to think about her twin... My elder daughter has been talking alot lately about one out twins dying and asking if this baby will die too, which of course is hard to answer...
Miss 2 is full on and amazing an I had severe problems when she was 4 months old so I do think in lost her twin for a reason sometimes.
Had a horrible dream about this baby last night but will try and shake it today...
Just made hubbie buy me mcdonalds brekki .. No
Wonder I have put on 7 kilos ... But alot less than previous pregnancys. But boy was it yum. I have to have my 19 weeks scan in a week or so but thankfully I'm not too worried as I have just seen Bub. Wondering why my belly is noticably smaller than the other ones but I think bubs is growing at the right rate. Took kids to the walk in clinic yesterday. Don't know if I was just having a day!!! Or hormonal but the kIds decided to run a mok and everyone was looking at me!!!! I was getti angrier and angrier. How am I going to find it with three ????? I used to go out heaps as I'm pretty strict with there behavior. But being pregnant and when they act up I get really stressed and really annoyed at the displeasing looks of ppl .... I think I'm more calmer without the hormones. Dd2 was coughing all night she vomitted again. But he said its just coming from the nose down the throat. Think I might leave them home today while I tackle the shops with mum. Might just have to get used to staying at home more.
Greenslw yes it was an adjustment .. Dd2 was better, think it wil be an adjustment with dd3
Me4ever. Sorry you're having a craopy time. Maybe once you have you're scan it will help you feel a bit Better. Thinking of you
Hey minniemouse. I remember you. Congratulations on you're pregnancy and being 19 weeks. I'm glad this one stuck. Wow what a journey for you tho. I will pray and pray that there is nothing wrong with thr baby
Duchess. Happy bday to dd2 ... Probably dream was brought on by emotions from twin. Hope you have a good day

Sorry i just need to vent and see if this is me or not. I'm not sure whether it's dd2 getting older or the pregnancy hormones. But at the drs and then again at my aunties the kids were just being kids .. But I felt so uncomfortable there. It's not very kid friendly. Everything's so clean and in its Plc and she is quiet old... But it was the comments and mum would say things because she new auntie was on edge ... So I only stayed a little while. I felt like she was judging the kids and the way they wee behaving. They weren't doing anything .. Just being play full kids being bored.... So I don't know whether it's because I'm stressing with wondering how I will cope with 3 .. And I'm getting paranoid. Or it's the pregnancy hormones making me on edge or what. Doesn't anyone else get uncomfortable when out with the kIds?????
