Re: Pregnancy after Miscarriage or Loss #9
mimi congratulations on your pregnancy. So pleased to hear things are progressing nicely.
Dory just wanted to pop in and say I am thinking of you and praying Thumper stays put for a bit longer. A lot longer would be better of course.
WW I hope things are going well for you too.
I have very poor internet which is making replying very difficult :(
Re: Pregnancy after Miscarriage or Loss #9
Mildez! I am home! I had 2 different tests for liquor loss. The first...is it amnio sure where the large cotton tip changes colour? Mine was blue blue blue. But I had a different one the next day where it was swabbed and then mixed and looked like a long HPT. Have you heard of the second one leaving a residue behind that then hardens? I had this weird white hard flake when I wiped this morning. Didn't feel or look like thrush... that sort of stays pliable. Anyway just asking. Not worried but curious.
27+4...today.
Re: Pregnancy after Miscarriage or Loss #9
Almost 28 woo hoo 10 more weeks to go I say :) glad you're home.
Re: Pregnancy after Miscarriage or Loss #9
The 2nd type is what we use. Put it in the vagina for a minute and then put it in solution and use a pregnancy test type test which if 2lines is a positive for ruptured membranes. I have not heard of it leaving a residue. And you can't use a lubricant with it so I guess it can't be from that.
Re: Pregnancy after Miscarriage or Loss #9
Joeve, so glad to see how far along you are!
Dory, you too. I have been following all your posts and your strength and resilience is overwhelming. I am thrilled you are over 28 weeks now. This is wonderful progress. Wishing you a lot of peace and that Thumper stays where he is for now.
Sorry I haven't posted, though I've been following. A lot of illness ups and downs. I wrote about this in the Preg after LTTTC thread.
All the very best to ladies in here,
WW
xx

Happy 20weeks Joeve. I hope the ms has eased for you.
Hello to everyone else. I guess I am not really in here anymore.
Re: Pregnancy after Miscarriage or Loss #9
It's quiet on here thanks for popping by Mildez.
I'm still feeling yukko and hoping the second half goes faster than the first!
How is everyone else?
Re: Pregnancy after Miscarriage or Loss #9
I wanted to pop in and let you know Thumper made it. A little boy. 5 weeks old. A bit dicey at the end....but what else would I expect from myself? Absolutely loving my newborn snuggles. Can't fathom that there are no more babies....ever. Thinking of everyone. I missed out on notifications for ages but I was in a pretty bad headspace for a while.
Re: Pregnancy after Miscarriage or Loss #9
Kateo....stumbled on some posts when we first met.....amazing.
Re: Pregnancy after Miscarriage or Loss #9
I dont know if anyone still read these as it seems there havent been any posts for 7 months or so
but a question i need to ask.
it looks like i could have the BFP after doing IVF , FET almost 2 weeks ago.
my question is that i have a friend who lost a baby ( miscarriage) about 6 weeks along and it has been just over a year since this happened.
she has no children and desperately want to have one.
how do i tell her about my BFP ?
I know she'll be happy for me, but i dont want her to be sad
ideas ?
thanks in advance
Re: Pregnancy after Miscarriage or Loss #9
I think the best thing up do is to be honest. You don't have to race out and tell her straight away if you wouldn't normally. I always found it easier to hear over the phone so that way I could go be miserable in private afterwards. It's not that she won't be happy for you it's just hard to hear others good news when yours to date is bad (or feels so at that stage in your life).
