Hi everyone i am doing well i am 12 weeks and two days. I am going to have this one via csection becosue i did not waiting a year so it will be either the week before chirstmas or after so at least i know when it will happen......best wishes everyone
-
I've got another headcold :(
Had some bleeding yesterday so went to the hospital & Bambi is fine. They don't know why i had the bleed but as long as i don't get any contractions then i've just got to rest.
Which would be way easier if i didn't have 2 kids to look after, but it's only spotting now & she is still moving around heaps :)
Hope everyone else is doing well, Mel how are you feeling?
-
im glad everything is ok cheshire...
yeah im ok...counting down the days....stomach is pretty sore at the mo and movements are hurting. hb is defiantly the killer........the birth and pregnancy fill up my thoughts each and every second lol lol
-
Hi girls,
Just wanted to say hi and see how everyone is going. I haven't popped in here since the last time I posted but I still think of you all and love seeing your tickers clocking forward. OMG Alish, Melstar, Possum, Cheshire, India's Mum (and Ive forgotton a few) how did you all get so pregnant in those few weeks I have been gone lol.
T-Hopes I am so sorry to hear about your MIL. I am thinking of you, your DH and Noah. I'm so pleased she got to meet Noah. I remember at one stage it looking like that might not have happened.
-
I can't believe i'll be down to double figure days tomorrow!!
Mel wont be too much longer for you, who do we have to stalk for news?
Hi Mildez nice to "see" you :)
-
Hey mildez and cheshire, how are you?
Thopes im sorry to hear about you're mother inlaw..hope you're all doing ok..
How is everyone else?
ATM....i have been throwing up every morning...YUCK.....and my god does my stomach hurt...its hard to explain..it doesnt come and go..its like a really bad ache and pain..like my stomach is really tight and in constant pain...its real hard to describe..its like a constant ache rather than a contraction coming and going...what do you think it is? baby has been moving but slower..dont think there is much room..i feel a bit vague as well
-
Mel could just be your muscles. If your worried talk to your Ob about it.
I hope your able to get some relief soon
-
i have had diareaha before...i have vomited...i feel cold....period pain. A little back pain. Stomach constantly sore and hard and really annoying me it also hurts up the top as well....i just dont feel well......do u think its just pre labour? The pains arent coming and going and increasing like they say contractions do..but im wondering if i am at the start...i had a bit of leakage when i vomited as well so i dont know if that was fluid or wee lol lol............this guessing game is not fun.......they say u will just know when ur in labour....i feel like things are defiantly getting going but whether that means soon or in a couple weeks im not sure.....
-
Melster, it sounds like you really don't feel well. It might be worth a visit to your Dr just to get a check up and some reassurance. Could even be a virus i guess? Let us know how you go...
Cheshire: glad everything is ok. Bleeding is always scary. Glad your little one is moving around lots to reassure you.
Mildez: nice to hear from you. I hope J is well again. It seems like ages waiting for people to have their babies and then suddenly that baby is 2 or 3 months old and i think "Where did the time go?!" Same with pregnancies i think. Everyone else's always seems to go faster than your own though!
Speaking of which...
Angelfish: are you 12 weeks already!!! incredible!
Wannabemum: Hi, hope you are having a good week?
Alish: are you still around? Feels like a while since you posted...but that could be my baby brain! How's the house building going?
-
Melster~ i would get checked out to be sure.
t`hopes ~i am so sorry to hear about your mother in law
possium magic~ yes 12 going on 13 i truly cant believe it but i think what for me making the time fly is having honor taking up all my time. She is truely a good baby hardly ever crys and very easy. I made her homade baby food yesterday and she loved it it was just peaches but she loved it better then the jarred stuff i cant wait for fall here so that i can make some and freze it at least i know what is going into it .
AFM~ i have another dr appointment on thursday to make sure that everything is ok and listen to the hb. I am going to try to talk the dr into having another us in a couple of weeks. I miss my other drs if they were not three hours away i would so be back with them
-
hi mildez! hows it going?
possum - im still around! reading more than posting atm!
as for the house - its not lol.. we need a bit more money before we can start but its not too far away! we wont be in before the baby is born unfortunately! such is life -
how are you? do you still have a cold?
melster - you poor thing :( go and see your doc, at least they can shed some light on labour vs virus
cheshire - how scary - glad everything is ok!
wbm - oh my god how funny! haha i definatly would never get lovin again if that happened to me! im still unsure as to whether or not he will be in the delivery room with me! he cant even hand me a panty liner let alone see what happens when you give birth!
ohh yay a girl :) girls are dominating in my belly buddies thread too!
not much to report here, other than im not sure if i still have my cold or if its just that stuffy blocked nose some pregnant people supposibly get! still snoring like a trooper, just paying dh back for 4 + years of snoring ;)
-
Mel if you really feel that unwell get checked out.
I was 34wks pregnant with DD2 & i had similar symptoms, i put it down to pre labour but because K wasn't moving i went to hossy to get checked out.
Long story short i had a bug & ended up severely dehydrated & almost need an emergency c-section as her heart rate was up at 220 & wouldn't below 200 for hours.
In the end it took a whole day to get her back to normal.
I'm not saying this will happen to you as i was really sick towards the end, but if you feel something isn't right then go get checked out.
You'll feel so much better knowing everything is ok
-
Mel, I agree with the girls - it might be pre-labour, or it might be a bug. Better to be safe than sorry and get yourself checked out. I hope things at home have settled so there's no extra stress there
PM - all good here baby-wise. Still waiting for a headache whose duration is now measured in weeks to go away, although on that front I've woken up feeling ok today, not the pain I had yesterday when I had to leave work. But bubs is growing away, getting lots of movement now - some big thumpers last night which was lovely.
alish - I hope DH can be there in the delivery room if you want him there. FWIW, my DH did NOT want to be there for DS, but he was, and came into theatre for the emergency c/s too (didn't look though). He was so glad to be there for the birth of his son, even if he felt helpless and awful when I was in pain.
angel - glad everything's going well for you :) I hope your new doctors are as good as your old ones.
-
Morning ladies..
I dont know why i hesitate to call the ob or the midwives, i know he wouldnt care and its better to be safer than sorry.....
I had dinner last night and went to be and my stomach relaxed.....been having terrible sleeps tho.....feels like i havent been sleeping at all........everything hurts and aches and im getting restless legs again....so so annoying..........I have been feeling sick in the mornings and vomiting but i think thats morning sickness again as its been over a week now and all the hormones..i havent been to the toilet again so thats good. my stomachs hard and sore again this morning, but im starting to wonder if its the baby having no room and my stomach just not coping...maybes its the way the baby is laying...not sure if she is still posterior or not..my belly is a different shape tho.....ill keep an eye on everything today. Dont think its gastro or anything....guess i will just wait it out and if it gets worse ill call.....maybe everything is just getting ready
Wannabe..thanks
Cheshire...thanks..yeah i will defiantly keep an eye on it today and ring if it gets worse
Alish....ha ha..i used to wake myself up snoring while pregnant with DD....LOL LOL...havent been as bad with this one tho
PM..how are oyu going?
ATM...its my last day at work today :D and having a work lunch friday so that will be nice....its kinda strange to think i wont be working for a year.....and that i will have a another baby soon...im a little scared i think..........................just have to teach this girl today and thats it..which is pretty boring because i show her and then she will do it and i sit staring LOL LOL...im going to hate not having my computer though and using my mobile..
Ill let everyone know my progress with the baby and labour through my phone.....
-
Morning ladies...
I'm hoping I can join in here.
Finally pregnant after a late loss 4 years ago, and 2 confirmed chemical pregnancies in 6 months.
I'll be 7 weeks tomorrow. Very nervous but all the scans I've had suggest everything is going along fine. Ive had the occasional spot of blood and pains so bit frightened, although they know that the bleed wasn't caused by bubs. Just an irritable soft cervix. (As bleeding happens after internal exams and transvaginal ultrasounds)
Hope everyone else is going great I will read back and then do persies once I've caught up! :) xx
Sent from my iPhone (via Tapatalk) so please forgive the spelling mistakes...
-
Congrats on your pregnancy LD :)
Mel how you feeling? Hope your getting some rest.

Hope its soon for you cant wait to read your Birth annoucment
I cant believe my jayden is already 2 months
:D
Hello to everyone its lovely to see all your babies so far along
-
It IS quiet in here - I have to restrain myself sometimes from being every second post :)
I hope the pain etc isn't too bad Mel. Try to take it easy (lol) and I hope your wait isn't too long.
-
Mel hope it's not too much longer for you.
Nothing happening here had my GTT on Thursday so i should have my results by Mon.
Bambi is doing well, i really wish she would move from transverse but i figure she wont stay like this for too much longer.
-
I love being able to count on feeling movement all the time. I know eventually I'll be saying "oh, get out from under my ribs", but at the moment, I am just loving that early movement feeling - even if s/he did feel like s/he was stretching sideways last night.
Hope your results are good Cheshire!
-
kellbell....i was just thinking about u the other day actually thinking i havent see a post from u in a while.....2mths already.....hope all is going good
wannabe.....dont worry i am every second post lol lol lol
cheshire......yep they tend to move...i wonder were my little one is at the moment and if she is still posterier
a girlfriend of mine who is due the same time has to have cmv (i think its called) as her baby is breech so there going to try and turn it....i have heard its quiet painful tho....
Atm.........for some reason i have been waking up in the mornings feeling depressed.....im alright when i get up and start cracking....dont know if its because i have finished work or hormones playing funny buggars with me.....i suppose after being pregnant for so long it kinda takes its toll in the last few weeks....feel pretty emotional and pretty hormonal......the days are taking forever........i got my new pram put together last night and have cafr seat ready....have kinda organised sister in law to watch dd and she will adapt to whatever happens and getting dad looked after......bags are pretty much packed and presents ready..........now i just have to decide on csection or not........i just want my body back now................im A little scared at the prospect of bringing another baby home and how we will all adjust and how dd will be......its a bit daunting.....the labour is kinda scaring me a bit as well.....i know soon enough dd2 will be here and it will all be happening and ill start the next faze..........
-
Melster- You seem very ready for your lil girl to come :D
WannabeMum- So reassuring when bub is moving so much :)
Cheshire- Hope your results are good news
Kellbell- Wow 2months already. Bet he is just beautiful
Hi everyone else, sorry I can't do more persies, this is as far back as my phone will let me :( Hope you are all doing well :)
AFM- Sorry I haven't been on lately. Had a lot happen and still haven't set up my computer lol. Bubby is sooo active it's fantastic, even when it hurts and I wonder how on earth it is going to get bigger lol. DS and XDP have so much fun playing with bub now they can feel it moving about in there :D Really starting to pop now too rather than just looking fat lol. Fundal height is measuring 4weeks ahead so am getting prepared for another decent sized bubba. Get to see him/her again soon, so can't wait. Will be to check up on size, position (bub seems to be bum down), fluid levels and to find out how lil one's kidneys are going now. FX they will be better. I have almost everything set up already lol. Just so excited, plus I can see what I still need to get now. Sorry for the long post but it has been a while.
-
Damprye, I was so happy to see your name this morning :) I'm glad things are back on the right track :crossfingers: bubs kidneys are tracking well when you have the scan, in the meantime, how awesome is the movement :)
DS decided he didn't want sleep-ins this weekend :( Boo. So he's been awake at 6 yesterday and today. Yesterday was my sleep in day - but I didn't get much of one, DH brought DS in at 7:30 because he had to go out - not fair! So he's sleeping away while I'm TIRED. I decided to fire up the shredder yesterday and get rid of 13 years of old bills, bank statements and tax records (don't worry, I'm keeping what I need to keep). So far I've done one drawer of the filing cabinet, have over two garbage bags full of shredded paper and have the big drawer to go... OMG!
-
Damprye it's great to hear from you :)
WBM wow that a lot of paper, it's amazing how much stacks up over the years.
-
It doesn't look as much jammed in the filing cabinet... But then there's the filing pile on top of the cabinet - now there's room for the current bills! *sigh* I used to be so organised.
-
Cheshire- Thanks :) It's good to be back
WannabeMum- If you're looking to dispose of the shredded paper usefully, it goes great in compost or pet shops and other places are always looking for some :) Pity about no sleep in. My DS was away for the night so I went to bed at 8 and got up at 8 lol, I'm so lazy :p
Lol XDP is snoring so loudly this morning, think it might be from the few drinks with the boys last night haha. Is it just me or do men turn into dopes once a couple drinks are in them? Lol
-
LsynDan: all the best for a healthy happy pregnancy!
Damprye: Good to see your name in here. Have been thinking about you and hoping all is ok. It sounded from posts like you were in danger of early labour for a while? I assume they drs have been able to slow things down cos bub is still in there baking which is great. Yup, i'm enjoying the movement too and so are DD and DH. DD asks me to tell the baby to kick her then shrieks in delight when baby obliges!
Wannabemum: Oh, i'm so impressed you are doing some sorting. I desperately need to go through more papers and things in the house to make way for more of our current stuff (especially for things in the baby's room). I find it soooo hard to throw things away. I can look at a pile of papers (related to the work i do) and I haven't looked at them in years but i'll still think "gee that looks interesting, it might come in handy down the track!" D'oh! you'd think i'd learn by now! I find it easier to throw away old bills and stuff. Oh, and 6am starts... I sympathise. We've been there! I remember that anything before 6.30 (and certainly before 6) felt just too early. I'm a bit spoilt now: DD is generally sleeping til 7.30 or so. (But it did take three years!) She now comes in to wake me whispering "Mum, it's me, can we get up now?" and brings me my slippers to coax me out of bed! Very cute.
Kellbell: good to hear from you. Hope all is going well with your family and Ella is enjoying her baby brother!
Melster: Hang in there! NEarly there. IKWYM though about starting to be over it. You're a few weeks ahead of me but today for the first time i thought: yeah, i think i'm getting to that point. Starting to get uncomfortable and wanting my body back too. Can't wait till baby is here.
AFM: Baby has found my ribs! For the first time yesterday when I lay on my side baby started pushing up against my ribs. It's little legs must have just got long enough! Very cute if a little uncomfortable : ) 32 weeks today! Yay! So thrilled to be this far along. Really counting down now. Getting uncomfortable and starting to feel like i might have had enough of being pregnant soon. My DD is being very cute: She rubs my tummy, asks to feel the baby kick and squeals when it does. She kisses my belly and talks to the baby through my 'tummy phone'! She likes the idea that the baby can hear her and is getting to know her voice. She refers to all the things she can do because she is a 'big sister'. I hope she continues to be this happy about the idea once the baby is here and taking up heaps of her parents' time and making lots of noise!
-
hey all
melster - how are you feeling? did you go to the doctors? not long now.. when will you have her if you have a csection?

hey pm and alish......
-
Got my GTT results back & they were normal at 6.0 :D
It's such a relief that even with the family history & the medication i was lucky enough to not get it again.
Mel 11 days is so close!
-
Hello ladies..sorry I pop in here every so often...I am at that phase in my pregnancy where now that nausea is dwindling and I am approaching 2nd trimester I dont feel PG..hahah
I seriously have no belly...well a food belly maybe...and it just weirds me out that Im working on 11 weeks...
Melster- I see your in that fun stage of waiting..I hope your birth announcement comes soon and you dont have to wait any longer..
Cheshire- Glad your test results came back good
Everyone else...Hope everything is going good :)
p.s.- waiting for my new preggy avvy (YAY) :)
-
Well... I think I need to come back in here for my own sanity.
A bit of history (as most of you wouldn't have been in here when I was last ^^;) We lost our first baby at 18 weeks, I know I have since gone on to have a healthy and gorgeous DS but this pregnancy is just as nerve wracking, maybe even more so as I seem to be growing the laziest baby in the history of... ever. S/he just barely moves. All our scans have come back fine, but I'm lucky if I feel s/he move once a day... and it's only bubble type movement, no real swift kicks.. DS we could feel from the outside at around 17 weeks! He was a crazy little wriggler... I just wish this little one would start giving me real boots already.
-
welcome helle & congrats! XD
-
Welcome & congrats on your pregnancy Helle :)
Had some more bleeding last night & this morning. At least it wasn't as much this time.
I wonder if it's because she is so low & putting to much pressure on my cervix.
-
I swear my brain is getting worse the more pregnant I get lol. To answer someones question, yes bub did attempt an early entrance. At 24weeks exactly I had PROM and threatened preterm labour. Still not sure what is going to happen yet, there is talk of inducing me at 36weeks because of it and am on weekly visits but I want to go to term, possibly longer. If they do decide to bring bub on sooner, I will let them because if that is strongly advised then I have no doubt that they only have mine and bub's best intrest in mind. Speaking of which, I am waiting at the docs again atm lol. Really enjoying just relaxing and letting things run their course rather than stressing. Can't control everything and I have to try my best to come to terms with that :)
Hi to everyone and I'll be back later for persies
-
a very early morning to u all.........i havent had much sleep at all.....i have been vomiting all night.........been having period pains and one real bad painful contraction...or what felt like one.....been quiet shivery as well.......its not gastro or anything....defiantly hormone related i think........might wait a bit and try and speak to the midwife at nine...been trying to see how active bubs is as well........
Hey damprye....its good to hear from u....we were all real worried...im glad things have settled a bit.....hopefully bubs can hang in there a bit longer
-
Cheshire- hope the spotting doesn't keep happening. How far are you now?
Helle- I felt DS earlier than this one but this one is so much more active now so try not to stress
The_Mrs- Yay for the 2nd tri approach :D
PM- Lol DS likes to "listen" to the baby. Our kids can be so cute
Melster- I've had quite a few nights like that so huge hugs.
AFM- Bub is finally head down :D Wish docs would write a bit neater though lol. 32weeks today :D
