Splooge towel = Load rag where I come from.
And of course I've tried getting DH to wave his magic wand in my direction! I have a checklist of tasks - I do at least 4 things every day :D

Morning ladies,
I have been busy with work and i have the day off today so am having a housework day YAY!!!! not!.
Honey bee-i have had 3 boys and 2 girls and to me OMG! is there a difference with the boys you cant mistake the floating balls at 18-19 weeks then with this little one at 14 weeks they showed us between the legs from underneath and you could see the destinct little vjay jay 2 white lines with the dark line in the middle.
But there are many women out there who have been told one thing and it turned out to be wrong so you might think you are 99% sure but you wont know for sure until bub is here.
Reet-GROSS!!!!! but funny lol DH and i have a box of tissues beside our bed but it doesnt help if we are on the loungroon floor, kitchen table or oooops sorry girls i got carried away i miss my pre belly fabulous sex now its bedroom gentle sex.
Reet i am seeing the high risk specialist because of my placenta previa and being an IVF pregnancy and this bub is still considered high risk because of our genetic fault so when she is born they have to go over her with a fine tooth comb and send her cord blood to the lab in SA to do a full DNA work up to see if she is a carrier like her dad and i but the geneticist has given her a 99% all clear based on the amnio so i am not worried.
Just this placenta i wish it would move.
Audax-I wont say a thing i am just waiting for your news.
Tegam-sooooooooooooooo close now i am jealous i cant wait to meet my girl and see what and who she looks like being a different dad to my 3 boys she will be a big surprise for the whole family i cant wait.
Double post
:tmi: Magic wand
Will be so lovely to meet your little girl. How are you going to share her after all you have been thru? In a way its great that they will still go over her well after the birth so you can be 100% sure all is ok. Do both parents have to be carriers? So she and her husband will just have to be tested before they have a baby??
Do you have any names??
Audax do you have names??
Does anyone have names and does anyone want to name this child of mine??
Tegam-my mum has already put in an order to babysit at least one day and night a month no butts about it (yeh right mum you have to find me 1st lol)
This little girl is so special she has no idea that she is so wanted and that the whole family were wishing and praying for her and being my mums 2nd living grandaughter in 19 years after 7 boys she is going to be nannys girl for shore and very spoilt by everyone.
My mum has demanded to be in the theatre for the c seaction when i have told her they wont let her and she just said we will see about that so god help the doctors look out here comes my mum.
And everytime she rings me it hows my baby girl are you being carefull looking after her take it easy ect ect not how are you feeling oh come on mum i have done this before but she is already nanna's girl so DH and i just have her on loan lol.
We have chosen a name Ella Jean Christine She has both nanna's middle names just like Abbi does.
And yes both parents have to be carriers to have an effected child but the chances of meeting another person with this gene is suppose to be rare some couples could be carriers and not know because they were lucky not to have an effected baby both our families will have the gene somewhere so our siblings are likely to be carriers as our other children have a 25% chance of having the gene where this little girl has a 50% chance of being a carrier but thats just like her dad and i.
Hello ladies.. I'm on my phone so this is going to be quick.. And selfish!
On Saturday morning I started spotting lightly with AF pain which increased to brown spotting with bad AF cramps in the arvo. I woke at 3am on Sunday morning with a bad headache and I was sweating and feeling terrible so I had some panadol and went back to sleep. When I woke Sunday morning I only had a little bit of spotting (just when I wiped.. TMI) and only the regular AF type cramps, but still the terrible headache. Sunday arvo, no more pain at all, the teensiest amount of spotting but still the headache. This morning the bloody headache is still here but no pain and no spotting as yet. Any insight as to what might be going on with me? I was a bit worried about an ectopic. I've pretty much given up hope of this being a successful pregnancy, especially with the pain I was in on Saturday. The only speck of hope was the fact that I had a bit of MS style nausea yesterday morning. Apart from that though, I have had pretty much no pregnancy symptoms so far. Hcg was 73 @ 4 weeks and 315 @ 4 weeks 5 days..it was taking 56.9 hours to double. I'm going to try to get onto the dr today and hopefully it won't be too early to go for a scan to make sure the sac (if there is one) is in the right spot. Gosh, this early pregnancy is just too much!
Hope you are all doing well and I can't wait to hear your news Audax!
Xx
Oh ferrals i love the name, even tho its long is roles so nicely!!! Beautiful she and Abbi will have that bond too!
Stoked: You should be able to have a scan today, it will be an internal tho and they will be able to see a sack but no heart beat. I had a scan with DD2 in the 5th week and saw everything and with this pregnancy i had a scan in the 5th week and could just see a sack, scared the crap out of me and made the wait even worse.
The headaches sound hormonal which is a great sign, not all pregnancies have the same signs so you cant freak out that this one is not the same as the last! The HCGs sound fine!
With my ectopic i was in a massive amount of pain on my right side, very very low down and whenever i had a bleed (cause i didnt get it checked out for a few weeks) the blood was very bright red.
Thinking of you and let us know how you go at the Drs

Angelicdragon: Your Inbox is full!
I am so sorry that you are leaving our thread. Please if you need us we are all here for you, That is what the thread is about and if you dont talk to us make sure you get yourself to another thread!
My heart goes out to you!
Audax - Lol, it looks like you've done everything on the list! And the race is on between your bub and Tegam's... hehe. I love the load rag comment... bahaha, I might have to adopt that term. Seems more elegant than the word splooge.
Tegam - Oh tell me about it, I swear the animals are preparing me for parenthood with all the cleaning up after them I've had to do lately. I'm a bit worried about Mr puppy though, he wouldn't even eat the ham I offered him this morning....... He loves to beg for people food so I thought for sure that would be a winner. It makes me sad to see him unwell. Perhaps a trip to the vet is in order. If he isn't better tomorrow then I'll have no choice. :( About the names, they can be sooo hard to pick. Especially trying to get both parents in agreement! Perhaps the name will just come to you when bub is born. I told my sister of our boy and girl choices (Heath or Mia) and she was like 'oh, Heath is gross, reminds me of blah blah and I have a Mia in my class and she's a brat). I was like... ummmmm....... ??? As if it isn't hard enough to choose, but then people have their opinions too. I don't think I'll be sharing any more name choices with family and friends, it just makes it more difficult! Have you got a short list??
Ferrals - Ahh yes, pre belly fabulous sex. I almost forgot what that was like. I love being pg, but have never felt so unsexy in my life. I find tissues aren't um, absorbent enough. I'm sooo tempted to post a picture from our last u/s which showed the legs, and well from what i could see, no winkie between them. If anyone can tell the sex it'd be you! But at the same time I don't want to ruin the surprise. Ohhh the agony! I think Ella is a beautiful name. It's one I've been tossing around a bit lately but I keep coming back to Mia for a girl.
Stoked - The bleeding/spotting stopping is the best sign you could have. When I had my mc, it just got worse and worse and worse. There was no stopping. So I'm still hopeful for you, hun. Get in for that scan asap and put your mind at ease. The headache could be hormonal, I get them from time to time for no reason at all, pg or not. And as for the HCG, well it's going up so that's also a good thing. Don't give up hun :) We're all here for you no matter what. And get those feet up and some prozac (icecream) into you STAT.
T-Hopes - Hooray! I'm so jealous you got a DVD though, Hmmph! :) Looks like I'm not the only one who had a gruelling 2hr scan lol.
Angelicdragon - Oh hun............ I don't have the words. I'm so so sorry. I'll light a candle for your little one today.
AFM - I'm too sad to say anything more now. :(
So sorry Angelicdragon to see you go :-(
Im a bit rushed for time but thought id do a quick post - have my scan tomorrow i am excited and nervous at the same time
week away was great now back to reality holidays sure do go quick!
ill be back after my scan tomorrow
cant believe im almost halfway!
There is nothing elegant about a load rag! I actually did make a neat little stash of them for DH to use, it's good because they're easily distinguished from hankies, so you don't get them confused.
Tegam - YES we have names and back-ups. What are your other kids? I will happily name your baby for you :D
T-hopes - congrats! So so so so so very happy for you. 12 week scans are the best. I am planning to watch the DVD of all my scans tonight, to see if I get a nice oxytocin flood that will help to kick start things.
AFM - had a hospy appt today, baby's a bit better engaged, got a S&S, yes, Tegam :tmi: the gloob factor was very high. Walked home from teh hospy, so hopefully that helped! So ready to meet this little one. Since it has moved down, sleep is SO much harder!
Audax the S&S will help for sure! I like that goop. I seem to have missed something and not at all sure what a load rag is?? What are your names? My kids are Grace, Evie and Thomas. Most babies are born before 48hrs after a S&S and the goop means it was a good S&S!
Kellbell: GL tomorrow!
Forshelby i like those names!
angelicdragon - im sorry my love... so so sad, my heart breaks for you xx
Kellie - Oooooh halfway mark! Enjoy your scan hun. Are you going to find our the sex?
Audax - LOL Oh you are truly every man's dream, laundering and stashing load rags for your DH. It would be rather awkward getting a hanky confused for the dreaded rag. :D Thanks for the laugh! Hooray for bubby moving down and I'm chuckling yet again at your choice word: Gloob. Love it!
Tegam - I'll try to word this as elegantly as possible...... a load rag (or splooge towel as I call it) is by definition: A small (or large LOL) piece of cloth used for intimate hygiene after the throes of passion. :) I can't believe I just wrote that!
AFM - My puppy is feeling better, finally! I spent the day pampering him, trying and failing to hand-feed him etc. I even resorted to giving him some of the good ham. In the end, a smear of honey on the nose seemed to perk him up a bit, followed by some lamb as I was preparing dinner. I was so worried because he wouldn't eat all day, not even the ham! All is good now though he's all snuggled up beside me on my favourite pillow (spoiled much) and looking very content with himself. :)
