Cloth nappy decision

Hi, I am trying to make the decision about what cloth nappies I'm going to buy. I have researched and googled a lot and have wiggled the list down to 3.
# Hippybottomus
# pea pods
# green kids
I like the idea of the separate inserts, not the all in ones and they will dry quicker. And also the ones that will be able to fit from around new born to toilet training. Any help would be great please [emoji120]

I would buy one of each and trial putting the insert in them and putting them on a newborn size toy. And get your OH to do the same.

My DH didn't like the bamboo or the prefolds, but would do an AIO style that I previously made up. I preferred prefolds, but went with bamboo at night once DS's sleeping improved as DS liked the bamboo more. Some babies prefer different nappies too, and some won't fit as well as others, so trialling a few brands is helpful.

I agree. Try them all. Have you looked at baby bare. They are my favourites even though the inserts take longer to dry. I like them much better than the pea pods I hAve. The green kids I have are Velcro which are also very hubby friends I like them much more than I thought I would. Onesandtwos are also good. Especially fit my DD best when she was 4 weeks old compared to the others I have. They are a narrower fit. And cheaper than some of the others. I heard someone unstitched the all in one insert to make it easier to wash

I would get one of each - look for sales and different stores to get good deals. Try a couple of other brands too. Look to ebay or ex nappy library sales for second hand options. Or try a nappy library yourself.

We have used IttiBitti, Bambooty, Baby Beehinds, Seedling Baby, Cheeky Butts and a night one from Bubblebubs. By far my favourites are the Itti but it comes down to personal preferences and also the build of your baby. For example while I love the look of the Bambooty both of my girls have been long in the torso and the Bambooty sits too low on the hip so it gapes at the too of bottom a little. Likewise I found the Baby Beehinds far too bulky.

I do love my cloth though. A bit of a collector I must say!

Thanks guys, I think I might just a few of each and see what fits bubba to decide on which ones are the best. Oh and myturn I'm adding baby bare to the list now lol
