You are quite right about tuna. It is oily fish that is high in omega 3 - salmon is a good source...
I would be very very cautious about taking flaxseed oil in pregnancy - especially before 20 weeks. Flaxseed oil has an anti estrogen effect I believe - from all information I have it is contraindicated in pregnancy. Omega 3 from fish oil does not have this same effect.
My naturopath strongly discourages it's use even after ovulation for this reason.
