this must have been so scary
hopefully if it was a stomach bug causing all the drama that it has passed and will leave you and bubby alone for the next 19ish weeks!
as for the family knowing...how much stress/anxiety could it cause you to tell them and deal with their reactions? maybe get DH to do it and deal with it if you feel they need to know?
sending you squidloads of 'stayput' vibes your way babe xx

What a scary time for you, sending lots of sticky vibes &'s your way.
I don't think it's wrong of you not to tell your family at all. You have a lot to process yourself, and if/when it's right for you to let them know, then you will. IMO, it's your experience & your story, you own it until you decide you can share it. If they were close by and were able to give you some uncomplicated, supportive & practical help over the next few weeks it might be different, but from a distance they'll probably only just worry & fuss, and you don't need to be having to deal with calming them down as well as everything else.
Fingers crossed everything settles back down and you get way, way past the 24 weeks without any more problems.
