Second semester relief...
Hi all,
After just reading through the rather horrendous list of 2nd tri sypmtoms I am feeling very grateful that I am feeling as good as I am! I am just 20 weeks now, and at long last the nausea and vomitting has stopped. I had an awful time with MS in 1st tri, and had to go into hospital on 2 occaisions for intravenous fluids :(
But today I am feeling fantastic - went to the gym with DH then home and did my yoga stretches - feeling so limber and fit now I can't believe it. I was so worried that I was going to be sick and tired for my whole pregnancy - and now I feel like I can really start to plan and enjoy it all.
Still have felt no movement at the station, and I sometimes think I am a bit small for 20 weeks, and have only put on 3 kilos all up. (had to make up for the 4 kilos I lost during 1st tri). But I think all is well as I have noticed leaking nipples which is a good indication that the hormone levels are still high.
Anyway next week get to have a quick peak with the scan just to check placenta and EDD. Then I can really rest easy and know I am on the way to being a mum for the first time.
