The last week or so I've been quite tender in my uterus area.
I realise it could just be ligament pain but it feels similar to how sore I was there just before I had DS.
Anyone else feeling/felt this?

No, but get checked out. It may be a UTI.
Do you have a fever?
I was thinking a UTI. Have it checked, just to be on the safe side.
Yeh I was thinking UTI but havent really had any obvious symptoms other than pain when I sometimes empty my bladder and increased wee'ing. I've woken up feeling quite rotten today.
Am off to the GP at 12 and have tried to bring forward tomorrows MW app to today but no luck as yet.
Watery discharge has increased a bit today too.
Trying not to let this mind of mine wander....
glad you are getting it checked out. During pregnancy its not uncommon to have asymptomatic UIT's which need to be treated with antibiotics
If the discharge is concerning you ring the midwives and tell them and make sure you emphasise your history. Sorry your going through this hopes its something minor xxx
With your history, I'd go straight to hospital. Chorio can, unfortunately, reoccur. You need ABs ASAP.
will be waiting to hear how you go xx
Well I saw my GP. She checked my urine and all was clear.
She said if I was concerned to go to the ED or wait to talk to my Midwife tomorrow.
As much as I love my GP, sometimes I feel like she's not thorough enough (and dare I say it, educated enough).
So I messaged my Midwife and she is going to call me this arvo to have a chat.
Thanks for the support girls!
xx
I guess at least there is no UTI, but pretty crap that there was no reassurance...especially if they dont seem to be terribly involved or knowledgeable. glad that you have someone else to bounce ideas off. Is there someone that you trust that was your care provider when Reid passed away that you could talk to, to try and dispel any worry or have a look over the case history? Might be a good way to ease the mind and collate all the info together ITMS.
The midwife I am seeing tomorrow was the midwife who looked after me while I was in labour with Reid. She is my midwife now.
She called a little while ago to reassure me and is going to do an amniotic fluid test for me tomorrow. She knows our journey and is doing her best to reassure me.
It's good to have her
Glad to hear it
Take it easy & make sure you get checked out if you're worried about ANYTHING xx
Just thought I'd update...
I saw my Midwife yesterday and she did another urine dipstick and all came back clear.
So we're just putting it down to ligament pain but obviously to keep an eye out on signs of infection.
Baby is moving heaps so must be happy. But I guess the thing with me is that its not usually an issue with the babies, its an issue with me.
So I'm just trying to remain positive now and stay away from any negative and worrying thoughts.
Thanks for the support girls!
So glad to hear the tests came back negative, I hope that your support people can give you some strength in the coming weeks, months, for however long you want and need it
