Around 20-21 weks for me, and I'm not feeling 'kicks' but shifting movements. The placenta is at the front, and the sonographer said this would probably mean i would feel them later. I've been thinking every time my tummy rumbled 'was that a flutter?', but now the shifting movements I'm feeling are quite different and definitely the baby.
i thought i felt a flutter the other night...and today again! Iknow bubs was in my bottom right hand corner last night, and thats where i felt it just now. i bent over and maybe squashed him?
Is this way too early??????
Danni, I do that...lol. I feel a bit of a protest to being squished as I call it. I felt flutter movements after about 13/14 wks...then I think it was around 15 wks I did feel a few little kick type of thing...kinda felt like little pokes but could feel them on the outside. Nothing major since then though, little movements and the odd poke....lol.
yeh it was a little poke exactly where i found the HB last night?
You never know, Danni... could have been bub! Might get easier to tell over the next few weeks.
This time around I'm sure I started feeling tiny little tickles just before 12w. I didn't feel Kynan until 15w6d.
I first started feeling movements at around 17weeks, just little flutters. My bf got to feel little bubs for the first time last week (21weeks), bub was kicking all over the place, u could also see it from the outside......it was amazing!
I felt the flutters at 14 weeks and full on kicking that my boyfriend also felt at 17 weeks. Really early for a first timer but I am stoked that I get to feel it all the time
Fluttering at 13 weeks and kicks at 18 weeks
Xmas day i felt my first flutter and then nothing for about 4 days then again . - iam 17 weeks 5 days and i feel it every day now.. he ( im calling him a he until i find out otherwise) is uslly awake about 11 in the morning then i feel most movement at about 9 - 9.30 at night.. beautiful it is.... absolutly amazing..
I cant wait until DP can feel it aswell...
With my first preg i didn't feel Ella until about 18-19 weeks - but this time around i've been feeling movements from Tia since 11 weeks  I guess you know what to look out for the second time around!
First movements was felt at 15weeks 4days, sorta like a jab. felt movement again about 3 days later, at 16weeks, and it was like butterflys.
Before i felt the butterflys, and had only read about it, thought it was a weird way to describe, but now, spot on.
I felt both my PG's at 14 weeks and a couple of days, only 1 day apart to each other!
I am pretty sure I felt flutters on Saturday night at 4 montsh to the day. It felt like 3-4 little bubbles popping one after the other, but didn't last long. At the moment I am feeling little aches near my belly button but don't know what that is.
Is it normal to feel something 1 day and then nothing the next 2-3 etc?
About 15 1/2 weeks for me!!!
Have them every day know. Just lovely! :D
Celsie. xoxox
Felt the flutters at 14 weeks exactly and kicks at 19 weeks. Pretty good for a first-timer with an anterior placenta I think LOL!
Flossie, it's completely normal to go a few days with feeling anything in the earlier stages.
I'm 13 weeks today and for the last few days I've felt flutterings, this is my fourth baby so it doesn't surprise me  I haven't told anyone yet, I'm not sure if I would be believed, I'm just sinply amazed and reassured that bubb is doing ok :D
With my first I felt him at 15 weeks and with this one I have just felt it at 12 weeks but only once.
I first felt Briley move when i was 19 weeks. Its was'nt flutters as a lot of you describe it though. It was more like spasms for me. Like when your lip or your eye has a spasm. IYKWIM!!!!!
I am 14 weeks today and have been feeling the same movement since about 2 weeks ago. I am not sure wether this is the baby moving or its just by tummy muscles having spams.
It is really hard to diferentiate cause even after Briley was born i still felt those movements inside me for a long time. Even right up to when i fell pregnant this time. Obviously it was'nt her moving, but the feelings i got when she was inside me i still get.
So yeah its really hard for me too say this time round!!! I can't wait till i can actually say that it definately is the baby moving. Movement is one of the best things about being pregnant!!!
With my DD I felt it around 19 weeks but this time I started feeling at 14 weeks. such a fantastic feeling!
I got my first kicking flutters at the AUSTRALIA vs NEW ZEALAND league match at suncorp stadium :) was a GREAT night cause we kicked some serious ass that night!! hehe
I got my first kicks at 19w1d!! The day before I had my scan and was told the placenta was anterior but low lying so didnt expect to get anything soon. It was amazing and it was felt from outside too!
From the inside I felt flutters from about 15 weeks and from 17 weeks I could feel tiny movements from the outside...
I "think" I felt it this morning for the first time. I was resisting getting out of bed when the alarm went off and just lay there and sware I felt a little flutter in my tummy.....that woke me up LOL. Not the last time this baby will be waking me from my slumber! Can't wait to feel a good old kick (may regret saying that!).
Im been having my first flutters for about a week now (im 17wks tomorrow) and this morning I felt a bigger flutter and dh had his hand on my belly and could feel movement :D I cant wait for the real kicks too!
I have felt bubbles and little flutters from from 10 weeks as I am (was!) quite slim. Then nothing for ages....just this past week though I have felt what I would describe as 'kicks'. It usually happens at the end of the day when I am lying on the couch and I can sort of feel when its about to happen. I have also started feeling movements during the day now too, when I'm sitting up or walking around. But being my first baby I'm really not 100% if it IS the baby or something else going on! Boy its frustrating!!!
I thought I felt some 'twitching' movements in my belly last Thursday night but I haven’t felt them since, so I have assumed that it wasn’t the baby. But if it was is it normal not to feel the baby for a week???
reneenay - It is very normal to not feel it very often so early. Bub's still has a lot of room to swim around in!! When he/she gets bigger, you will feel more. But lucky you for feeling something so early! I had to wait until 19wks
Thanx Veronica :)
I woke up last Sunday morning with DH hugging me with his hands tightly on my belly. I asked him what he was doing because I could feel him slightly pushing in places, he said he was trying to feel the baby move hahaha! I had to tell him he has got a while to wait yet! Poor thing.
:) Hi Everyone!
This is bit of an update as I only just posted... but I'm happy to say that what I'm feeling is definatley the baby!
Last night DH felt it for the first time which really convinced me that what I am feeling is the baby. It was about 10.30pm and DH just got home, and it was as if our voices woke her up as she starting wriggling from one side of my tummy to the other! We felt her moving around for about 5 minutes before getting cozy again :D
It was beautiful! He or she is a very active little baby! I can even feel her now while I'm sitting here typing!
for my first pg it was around 17 weeks
and for my 2pg it was about 14-15weeks I felt movement:clap:
its very exciting and every minute of being pg should be enjoyed !!!
mine felt like I had bad gas! Now that I think about it, I felt it, but dismissed it as nerves coz it started the week leading up to our wedding (17wks) but 18wks on our honeymoon, I felt it stronger. I'm so glad now that it actually feels like kicks and my DH can see and feel them!
this is my 1st and i felt butterflies at around 16 wks... but at around 18 weeks they wer definite kicks and wat felt like turns. im now 22 weeks
This is my first pregnancy & the first time I felt my baby was when I was 14w5d! It happened as soon as I went to bed & laid on my back it felt like a release of butterflies in my tummy, then bubbles popping. I still feel it quite often.
i felt my baby kick when I was 16 weeks and it's my first baby.
I first felt her kicking around 18 weeks.
I felt my first movements at around 12-13 weeks. I was certain I was further along until I had the scan and they confirmed I was only 14 weeks along. This is my third child so I guess its a case of just knowing what you're feeling.
around 15 and a half weeks for me for this bub :)
