All mine are 4, 3 and some 2 0's for down the track. My family has a history of massive babies that grow at a really fast pace and so does Dad2be's family. If he needs any that are smaller I'll have mum, nan and the aunties out swarming the shops for me at any rate lol

my babies were 6lb 8oz and 48cm and 6lb 14oz and 50cm and both were in 4 0's for about 6 weeks or so depending on the outfit brand and if it was stretchy like a bonds body suit which seam smaller. I didn't buy much at all for the hospital as they realy only wear singlets and basics as the hospital is kept at 21C and they're wrapped up.

Thankyou ladies!
It looks like I probably wont need the 5 Os after all. I have a couple of cute outfits, but will save them just in case bubs is small or a friend has one (I think I have taken the tags off). Luckily I have an assortment of sizes, from 4 0s, to 3 0s, etc, so will wash some 4s and 3s for the hospital.
I was 6 pound 7, but DH was almost 10 pound! I know it goes on my mum's babies sizes, but still, chances are it will be a bit bigger.
Thanks again :D

Thanks again ladies,
Mads - did you know you were having a big bub? Only I am measuring big for dates, so just wondering how accurate it is.
I will have some 4s and 3s handy I think, sounds like this is the way to go.

My babies must be the odd ones then! DD was born 9lb5oz, 50cms and was in 4 0's for about 4 weeks. DS was born 9lb, 55cms and was in 4 0's for about 2 months then was in 3 0's until he was 6 months old.

Dragonbub (love your screen name BTW), I think you are on the right track not buying 00000s. My DD was premmie (35 1/2 weeks). She weighed 2.485 kg and was 47.5cm long. She had one 00000 bodysuit, which she wore for about 6 weeks. Otherwise, she was in 0000s pretty much from the start. They swam on her for a few weeks, but not too badly. She is still wearing most of them now at 10 weeks, except for the suits and trousers with feet, which she outgrew at about 8-9 weeks. When she outgrew the footed suits, I started putting her in 000s, which are still a bit big but fit reasonably well now.

Jensen was 3820g (8lb 7oz) 52cm, he fitted into 0000 and 000 (although some 000 were too big and still are, even at 2 wks). The 0000 dont fit over his had properly and its hard to get his lil arms in.
Go for mainly 000, with only a few 0000. Bonds wondersuits seem to be smaller, so go with 000 there.
Don't tumble dry any brand wondersuit, as they shrink!
Congratulations and good luck!

Our little one was 6lbs and 48cm and went straight into five 0's, she is now in some four 0's aswell. I think another week and she'll most likely be out of her five 0's all together.
