Bad pain :(

yikes this is very scary.. I think steroids shots are for your baby to mature the lungs. I am glad that you are ok now :)

Beckoes- I hope bub listens to you! I am so happy to be home, i hate hossy.

Mom2be- It was scary, and the steroids were for bubs lungs....luckily he is still in there :D

AFM- I went to my appointment this morning, and i really didn't learn anything i didn't already know. Basically, they don't know where the pain is coming from, and as it's not a threat to bub (i haven't gone into labour) it's bedrest and tough luck for me. I'm ok with that- it was exactly the same with my DS as well.
I am getting an US tomorrow, maybe we'll get some answers then, but i'm not counting on it.
All i have to say is the 29th of september looks very far away!

Is good news that they don't think it is labour but bummer about the bedrest.

September seems like a long way of but it will come up pretty quickly and just keep your eye on the prize...a precious fullterm bubba.

MM- sorry babe, i didn't even realise it was full. Im doing alot better than i was, slightly better yesterday and today i am sooooooooo much better. I don't feel pain when im sitting down :D I still can't walk properly but it's way better than it was- i can cope with this for the rest of the pg :D

The ultrasound didn't find anything but a 2cm cyst on my left ovary, which shouldn't be there, but it shouldn't be causing the pain either. Bub was completely fine, he's still head down. My cervix has gotten shorter but i think that happens the further along you get anyway??? It's currently 3.1cm....
I haven't had any tightenings since hossy on the weekend so hopefully things have settled down and i can continue on growing my bub without any more scares :D

That is great to hear that the pain has reduced :)
Hopefully it was just a one off and it will not return FX
3.1cm is still good...they do not get concerned until it is under 2.5cm and/or there is funnelling.
So all sounds positive and hopefully bub is tucked up for the long haul.
