Hi everyone,
I have uploaded some pics of our beautiful boy, in my gallery.
Unfortunately I'm not well. I developed mastitis overnight, in my right breast, & have a fever of 38.7 I am back on the antibiotics & are expressing the right breast every 3 hours again. I've had an oversupply of milk & changed from pumping both breasts to alternating the breasts every 3 hours. The nurses think that's what has caused it. It is horrific. I would never have thought I could feel so bad.
On a good note, Byron had another great feed off my good breast today. So it won't be long before he's taking 2 feeds a day off the breast. We'll then try to get him to take every 2nd feed off the breast & slowly build it up from there. He put on 40g at his weigh in this morning so he's doing fab.
Oh he is simply gorgeous!
Am I too old for BellyBelly? I can not navigate this site. I only ever find things by accident. Where is this gallery of Georgi's?? I wanna see the baaayy-beeee!!
PS. I used to work in IT as a web developer, so it's not for lack of experience that I get lost here ... I'm certain it's age related.
Edit: Ok I stumbled on it, don't ask me to do it again though. He's sooooo cute and he looks really healthy and great!
So sorry to hear about the mastitis, I've heard that's unbearable. Gosh Georgi, you need a break!! What can we do for you?
KURAIZA Yep, it's really terrible. I don't feel too bad this morning, though yesterday, I was death warmed up. Now I have little blister looking thingys on my nipple. I'll have to get the nurse at the SCN to check it out. As for what can you do for me.....You can pray that my little man comes home soon. That's all. Thanks :hug:
I'm praying he comes home soon for you. He sounds like he's doing beautifully though. What a shame you've got mastitis, hopefully it'll clear up in no time with the AB's. :hug:
