mmmmmmmm i am still here, althought today the pains seem to be getting alot stronger , i have a doctors appointment today so hopefully they will be able to see if anything is wrong, cos im starting to feel like maybe there is something :(
my back is sore sore aswell (im so over this)

let us know how the doctors go. Hopefully u have been dialating or something and they can get u to hospital with some pain relief. not too long before u meet your precious baby

I have been keeping an eye on your thread. Worried about you and kind of preparing myself for the months come. It must be aweful waiting around worrying that something is wrong. Can you get a scan to see if he is engaged or in the right possy still? Have you tried a heat bag on your back, or is that not aloud in this stage?
I hope you start to get some answers so you can put your mind at ease that nothing is wrong. Wow just to think it could be days away that you meet your little man... how exciting. he might even show up in time for Fathers Day!

so i am still here although my midwife said to me that bub is well engaged (as much as he can be untill he pops out) she said that i am in early labour and i have been getting strong contractions since yesterday morning, he could still be a couple days though since my waters have not broke.
i had the worst sleep last night, i woke every time i had a bad pain and finally couldnt get back to sleep around 2am. my contractions are still over the place but i have noticed that they are getting stronger and stronger, and i had diareaha this morning (EwW sorry)
please send me labour vibes, i really dont want to go days with these feeling :(

You can use a heat pack if it helps on your back.
Keep up with the baths & showers.
A nice gentle walk might help get things moving for you if you can manage it. Just around the yard, or up & down the hallway if you don't wanna leave the house.
Maybe hire a movie that you can get into, it might help take your mind off the pain.
Hopefully you'll be off to the hospital sometime this afternoon.
If you could just get a little bit of sleep you might find it helps alot. All 3 of my labours started while I was asleep coz my body was so relaxed.
RELAX!! I know thats impossible, but it will help.

Getting the diahrea is good news. It means that you are not far off. Try doing some belly dance moves like rotating your hips in a figure of 8 movement or bending over and rocking your hips from side to side. I found these helped me also heat. Either from a shower/bath or hot water bottle. To really get labour started I power walked up and down stairs.

Hi 1stimer,sounds like everything is getting ready,bub might come a little early,if you are feeling sick and dizzy try to suck on some jelly beans or barley sugar,your blood pressure could be either going up or down as well,just take it easy and make sure you have someone to stay with you,try deep breathing for those sharp pains,wishing you all the very best. PS, don`t foreget to drink water!:hug:
Cool little man is on his way, I still think he will make an appearance Fathers Day! get some one to hire you some chic flicks. If you haven't seen 'Notebook' see if you can get it. Its a sad movie and you will cry for sure but that may help you relax as tears have a relaxant effect. Might take your mind of things for an hour or so too. The heat bags will help too.
I am going to keep on eye on this thread and if we don't hear from you I am sure we can assume that you are in the hospital having your baby!
