Mucous Plug or Semen?

Was having some seriously regular tightenings last night but all fizzled.

Just watching and waiting now :)

Hope things hold off a little longer. DD3 was the only one I had pre labour and plug loss prior to birth/ROM. DD2 came at 35+? And we came home the next day so if things do happen bubs may or may not need time in the SCN to get the hang of feeding and keeping their temperature regulated but should be fine otherwise, but I hope he stays put a little longer for you xx

I'd be happy to reach 37 weeks and have him come whenever.

We're planning a birth at home so I'd be a little worried about birthing him before 37 weeks at home.

At this point he's still tucked up in there so thats a positive thing :)

I lost bits of plug or had more discharge for at least a week before, from memory. But I lost the plug proper (had a distinct bloody tinge to it) just as labour kicked off for real. It was so obvious then that there was no doubt ITMS. If you aren't sure, you're probably not dilating enough to lose it all.

i had the same thing a few weeks ago. but nothing since.
