Ok I must have been desperate to get Angus out, Cause my DH was getting it every second day if not every day to try and get this baby out! Not very successfully mind you, and my hips were always killing me after! lol
I will not be doing it in that position for a very long time either!
Aww... shucks... We've still got it going here... although there was a drought for awhile due to a sore jiny and severe ms in the beginning. But now we enjoy an active sex life again, usually doggy is GREAT!!! But we also use the ottoman too... I lie on the ottoman and Daniel will kneel and my legs will be up in the air resting on his shoulders or him holding them up. Bahahahaha... how embarrassing! Danny would kill me if he knew I was admitting this stuff... We utilise all sorts of places - kitchen, dinning room table - they all work fine with the belly! Claire, your never gonna wanna come over my house now are you? ROFL
we've had it 4 times the whole pregnancy. i think the producers of 'Knocked Up' were in our bedroom watching my dp when they wrote that sex scene. seriously, we laughed our heads off when we saw it as dp had said the exact same thing about poking it in the eye. oh well, i've gone longer than this before without sex and at least this time i get a prize at the end!!
We are only a few days off DD and still managing a couple of times a week. I agree with the poster who commented about never wanting to do the spoon position again. It's pretty boring by the end but the only one where my hips or knees don't give out.
am at 32 weeks and we do it a couple of times a week. did find a position that is comfy recently so will probably continue with it.
Ahem...we have managed to do "it" weekly at least, since BFP. Certainly the logistics is tricky. I haven't tried the spoon, but I think that one might come next! DH is not fussed about bub being in the way, but it bothers me. Not because of his/her presence there, but because it distracts me when I feel a movement or kick. Kind of puts me off *blush*. As I get bigger and more uncomfortable things might change.
Great topic by the way! :)
We've never let the belly slow us down. ;) We find things most comfortable if I am on top, sitting up, or me on my hands and knees with DH entering from behind. Try a new position if you are having troubles. No reason not to keep enjoying yourself, and you might get to avoid going overdue. :)
I'm so pleased that this questions was asked. Dh and I have on occasions done the deed however lately its not very often at all. We did try a couple of nights ago and boy o boy it was uncomfortable not to mention painful. I don't know if thats normal or not but I think we'll have to do other things from now on. It didn't matter what possie we tried either although we didn't try the "spoon". Maybe that would be ok for now.
DH and I have slowed things right down. I am usually in bed at least an hour or so before him and therefore trying to get to sleep and i get really shirty if I am finally just dropping off to sleep (FINALLY!!) and he tries to get a bit. I think maybe once or twice in the past four weeks has been our limit. I think he is ok with it...he hasnt realyl mentioned it...and there are other things that can be done to keep his mind off it. We usually stick with the spoon or doggy as it is most comfy for me but its not long before knees/hips give out and I jsut get frustrated.
Will have to give it up at least once or twice more before I go away and not see him for four weeks. I dont mind - just tiriing and with getting maybe 4 hours sleep a night - makes it hard to feel "in the mood"
