One more thing- I thought the plug was the same as the show? As in when the plug comes out it has blood in it?[/QUOTE]
technically it is, but as others have said you can get a bleed without mucus-as in the plug is partially disconnected & waters/blood sneaks past.
I never had a show with my first or my second- & with #2 my waters broke first.
With #3 I had a show 1 day before labour, which was lucky because it was at 33weeks.
You sound like you are progressing nicely- FX for ya hon.

Thanks Chrispe and Loulabelle. Had breakfast with hubby this morning then did a little shopping. :)
I lost my plug as my waters broke and got my bloody show all together

Sorry for the double post - I also just wrote this in my BB group thread but am letting off steam .... It's funny, I first came to bellybelly because of mystery fertility issues and joined a TCC 12 months + group. At the time the worst thing in the world was the two week wait. Now here I am, finally pregnant and overdue, and thinking the 40 week wait is the most frustrating thing! Ironic...but remembering my very sad TCC days does bring it into perspective again. :)
Anyway, last night before bed my naughty body once again tricked me into thinking labour might be imminent. I was having regular, highly uncomfortable but not *painful* BH for about 5-6 hours. I wasn't timing properly but noticed they were about 12-16 mins apart. So I went to bed fully excited but only woke up in the night when the BH put too much pressure on my bladder. I also woke up at 4am feeling nauseous but not enough to worry I might be sick- just an off feeling. I thought this was a sign too until I told DH who said he felt nauseous at 2:30am so maybe it was the super sized fish and chips we gorged on for dinner!
This morning- nothing. Not one BH at all! But I still feel a bit off. A bit vague and dopey.
Sounds like it'll be very, very soon Ladylove! Beautiful birthing to you
Hee hee to your dinner making you and DH have the same immeninet labour signs then!
Not long now and I can't wait to read your BA!
Exciting times LL!

sounds like you won't be waiting too much longer! Goodluck!x

Congratulations LL! Enjoy your babymoon with your beautiful baby girl.
When did you get your bloody show? ;)
When I came into the hospital- had been labouring at home for about 8.5 hours then when I got there the MW did a cervical exam and that must have loosened the plug :)
:confetti::happyforyou: Congrats :D
