MummyTummy - Haha...too funny!
:yeahthat: i'm just on 31 weeks and i have to *really* think about how to dry myself off too...and under the bump gets too sweaty!
mummytummy:  :spit: oh thats classic!
I know im getting near(er) to the end because im getting more dextrose with my feet LOL.
and the floor is getting further and further away each time i try to sit down or get up...and DH forgets where i "end" now (and i forget too from time to time) and end up bumping things with the bump or Bundy kicks at the right time and knocks things over!
Oh yeah, and the other one that always gets me is when you turn sideways to fit through a small gap, only to figure out that you are skinnier front on!!
Last pregnancy I parked in a parking spot that I just could not get out of..... I had to move the car and find a different spot!! I swear they should make 3rd trimester pregnancy parking spaces next to the parents with prams spaces!
not fitting in the loo could be come troublesome
When you try anything you can to get things happening - like dancing around the kitchen to Lady Gaga, and squatting and sweeping/vacuuming/mopping......is very tiring!
Or when you constantly need to go to the loo, even when you don't....
lol to not fitting in the toilet!
I don't know about the rest of you, but...finding everything that people around me are saying and doing INCREDIBLY annoying because I'm so uncomfortable and irritable! Want this baby to come just so I can go back to my normal, happy self!!
 I know what you mean about car parks and toilet cubicles! Thank goodness I'm not at work having to deal with either now yay! Meanwhile I have to book myself a pedicure because my toenails need trimming and there's no way I can do it. When I asked DH to trim them and he screwed up his face I decided that was fine, I can do with the pampering right about now:dance: Funny thing about making appointments now is I actually have my fingers crossed I won't be able to keep them!
Almost 39 weeks & not experiencing the troubles of others...makes me feel agile & I thought I wasn't (you should see me a at yoga :o.
I am really looking forward to meeting our little man but also will be sad not to have my beautiful bump and feel his movements inside me. I feel very special being pregnant but it will be good to do some normal things again like....not feel nauseaus, ride my motorcycle, mow the lawn, pee only when I actually need too...hahahahaa pregnancy is such a joy & pleasure...how lucky are we to have the chance!!!!!
ooo i had another one today...trying to revise the car - but not being able to turn around fully as the bump's bum was sitting in the wrong spot and turning around to see where i was going was rather unpleasant! (and i still dont get why only one ONE side mirror there is a warning "things maybe closer then they appear" why dont they have it on both...or has bundy eaten my brain and there is a reason for this?)
I must be lucky then - my DF cuts my toenails when i ask him to lol. Also he has started putting my socks on for me on the days when everything is really uncomfortable.
I seem to have great days where i feel very comfortable, then crap days when i cant even roll out of bed due to very painful pressure down below.
I have been so excited about meeting my little man, that i actually have wished this pregnancy along so quickly and have not sat back and taken the time to really enjoy it and be marvelled by it - which is what i am slightly disappointed about. It feels like yesterday that we were just trying for this baby...now in 4 weeks he will be here!
You are lucky - I don't know I would ask my DH to do that. I am lucky to can still do my own...esp since I broke my toe and have to remove & reapply the bandage at least twice a day for showering. I think it would drive DH balmy doing that for me & me going 'ouch ouch ouch' as he was lovingly applying the bandage!
I had to ask - my toe nails were getting so long they were starting to put holes in my socks and hitting the end of my shoes! Though now i can feel the start of an ingrown toe nail....thanks Craig lol jks.
OUCH...broken toe, how did you do that! Hope it heals quickly for you!
Having to wear slip on shoes because you can't even SEE your feet, let alone get down that far to put on socks AND shoes AND do the laces!
When you have dreams your waters have broken, only to wake up and check, and find your dry :( lol
Not sleeping at all! Dreaming about pains (maybe they real / maybe they not) :D
Soccer with the back door....trying to do too many things at once & not concentrating on where I was going. :shakehead: It has been two weeks now & only just able to stand the weight of the bedsheets on my foot again...hopefully it will be better for birthing...I know that I won't feel my toe with everything else going on but don't want it to be painful in the following days!
When you and your partner are lying in bed watching tv - and your partner suddenly makes a vocal noise that sounds like water splashing. You ask what on earth is he doing, and he looks at you and says "did your water just break?"...."lets try and break it"!!!!
Or he rings you every day to ask if anything has happened!!
Poor DF - He thinks just cos my twin sister went 7 weeks early that i was going to go early also! But nope - little man is still in there which i am more than happy about.
Sleepy nolan your almost there, not much longer
Summer lol he's just an excited daddy to be, mine does that too
When you make appointments with your MW to see if you can get an inducement date....lol
When you think labour starts, only for it to fizzle out an hour and a half later! :shakehead:
When people start ringing you up asking if anything has happened yet and you haven't even reached your official due date yet...and you have to grit your teeth not to say something rude! (Mum, I'm looking at you....)
And people start treating you like you're a timebomb!
And random strangers on the street check out your baby bump, with a look that clearly says that they have assessed that you are ready to drop at any given moment and they seem to think that you are taking a risk being out of the house.
And you are in a really really foul mood because of all these things...:wall:
Curly - I know what you mean! Lol. Was in coles the other day, and I swear people were looking at me like I had 2 heads! Must have looked pretty funny with a huge belly pushing a full trolley around!
Plus my MIL rings me everyday asking how I'm going, have I had anymore pains etc....I just feel like screaming to leave me alone, when it happens we'll let you know! Lol. But I can't be so rude she just cares alot. Lol.
Then there's DH who jumps every time I do - which is sweet too, he desperate for bubs to come out too. Keeps talking to him and telling him he has to come outta there. Lmao.
lol know what you mean about the looks from strangers! Was in Big W today and this guy and his wife were trying to get their toddler to sit down in the trolley and he said 'I think you should be sitting down' to her and then looked directly at me, pointed (wtf?!) and said 'Ditto for you'... I have no idea who the f he is - never seen him before in my life!
And what about when people tell you you shouldn't be hanging out washing or doing the vacuuming etc like a friend of mine did when I said that's why I didn't hear the phone... who the hell else is going to do it for me? And with a toddler insisting on wearing undies but not wanting to use the loo, it's not like the washing can wait!
I feel like screaming at people 'I'm just very pregnant, I'm not an invalid or sick or dying!!!!'
When everytime you go to the loo you inspect the paper in the hope of seeing any sign of a show, with the complete opposite reaction to when you saw spotting way back in the first trimester!
lol.. my mil is already ringing everyday to ask if the bub is out yet.. I have 7 weeks still!! Grrr!!
toward the end i found myself getting excited about being able to DTD plain ol' missionary style again XD
when it is way too uncomfy to stand, sit, lay, walk.
when u find urself constantly rocking because it feels like ur bak is going to snap in half
Reviving this thread
I am sick of having to hold onto things when I'm trying to get my undies/pants/skirts on! :wall: It's not so much that I lose my balance (I do that when I'm not pregnant ) - it blooming hurts! My hips get creaky and sore very quickly if I'm standing on one leg for even a second to get a leg into something :o
I swear i went to the loo for a pee, stood up, flushed the loo, then had to sit back down again cause i needed a pee again!
I evaluate weather or not i should eat something, not on how tasty it is or how hungry i am but on the degree of heart burn it will give me and how many indigestion tablets i have on me to fix it!
How hairy my legs are cause there aint no way i could get passed my knees to shave them!
I can't wait to sleep again!! I know i will have a newborn but i swear I will still get more sleep then i'm getting now and hopefully won't be waking up in pools of sweat.
Beckoes - i'm with you on the peeing as well. I get there and think äll that for that" it's like 2 p***y little drops.
I also know i'm close cause i dread going anywhere when i'm usually busting to get out of the house.
I'm sure there are a zillion other things. I'm so ready now. Come on baby!!
When you're checking the loo paper every time to see if there is a smear of colour and hoping that it will be some of your plug, only to be disappointed when there is no colour on there.
When you get excited because you're getting pains only to be sorely dissapointed to find out that the pains you've been having are a result of being constipated rather than the start of labour.
Breathing through heartburn pain like it is a contraction.
Everything is an effort!

Haha - yeah me too! i'm also checking for signs of waters leaking lol
You can no longer just "roll" over in bed. It actually requires you to get on all fours and adjust yourself before trying to get comfortable AGAIN
You hardly bother ever going out becuase it takes so long to get dressed.
