Is bubs kicking my bladder?

Last night I started feeling HUGE kicks accompanied with a short sharp pain in bladder area - then feeling like I was busting for a wee. He did this over & over & over again for hours.
It took me by surprise as I've never felt that before. I'm sure he's kicking my bladder. Am I right?
One of the harder things to deal with in pregnancy is with every new thing you experience - you wonder if it's normal!!

Oh & he's just started again...

when i was pregnant with my son he did that to me so yeah it sounds like it:D
they are just wonderful arnt they lol, every experience i had with my son is soooo different with this one(its a girl) but i was expecting to feel that again and i can say im glad i didn't lol

Cheezel Monster I get that too LOL I just feel a little movement and all of a sudden I feel like I need to bolt to the loo!! Have been getting it for a while now, fun isn't it? ;) I don't remember DD doing it to me when I was pg with her either, I guess they really are all different.

Definitely sounds like a kick to the bladder!

I've been getting that for ages, bubs seems to think the bladder is a trampoline! (to quote another BB member) But I was on my way to my middy yesterday and I just had to keep going to the loo every half hour - DH thought it was very funny. But my middy checked where bubs was and she was fully engaged... no wonder I needed to pee all the time! But she moved out last night so I didn't have to bolt every half hour - only every hour or so...

Yep, Cheezel Monster, bubs is definitely kicking you in the bladder.
It has been happening to me for a while also, and sometimes I feel like I have to dash to the loo like a crazy lady , because I think I'm going to wet my pants....It's a very uncomfortable sensation, bordering on painful !!

Yep definately your bladder copping a serve from bubs. I had it all the time until bubs turned around, now their head just bounces on my bladder with every step I take. Ahhh the joys of pregnancy.

Yep. My boys thought it was a soccer ball. Your bladder and uterus are so so close that in the later stages, most of bubs movements put pressure on it. Just something to look forward to. LOL

my first DS did this to me as well.
Once he kicked me so hard that yep i wet my pants, infact i thought my waters had broken, but nope just one good swift kick to the bladder... oh by the way he plays soccer now
