early spotting

hi everyone,

I'm just in my terrible 2 ww, had my FET, (natural cycle, 2embryos day 5) on Monday.
I just can't believe it on fri(day 4) I started spotting, little pink with min blood. (sorry)

But it sort of stopped today again in the evening, but I feel like getting period, just migraine feeling.
Feel very down cause don't think is looking good.

Has anyone experienced this before........
And what was the outcome..............

I did have a positive BFP bt, however MC due to other reasons later

I'm sorry to hear about your M/C and giving me a little bit of hope

i rang my clinic and told them to bring my BT forward as i had been spotting they said that doesnt sound right for DPO called me in early for BT and HCG was present and kept rising with more BT

i hope you get your long awaited BFP soon. are you on any LP support? P4 or HCG boosters?

No i'm not any support what so ever.....
I asked them before if I should need some Progesterone as I always seem to bleed so early, but they said "no, its all natural"

So that was it.

What does DPO mean, sorry very new with all the terms...
And what is P4 or HCG boosters?
They don't seem to tell me much.
Do you think I should ring the clinic tomorrow, can't ring today as its sunday...

I still feel cramping more like period coming up with min. little brown discharge now.

sorry to confuse you even more!

DPO = days past ovulation, so not day of transfer (DPTF)
P4 is Progesterone
HCG boosters = shots of pg hormone, helps you body to start producing its own

from what i can work out you were 9 DPO (a 5 day TF is 5 DPO, plus the 4 days later) when the spotting started, just the time i would expect implantation to accure. Hoping for you your dreams come ture. when is your offical BT? i would do a HPT two days before, if positive then ask BT to be brought forward

No you are not confusing me at all, just teaching me!!

My BT is on friday, but bleeding started now.
I just don't understand, when I was doing all those IUI's every time I started bleeding so early and on the end they where giving me Progesterone what did not help either just bleeding again early.

My 1st IVF was ectopic (2nd ectopic) my 2nd IVF, I started bleeding a week post transfer and now again early bleeding, just don't understand. When I tell my doc he doesn't seem to do very much...

Seems like I need much more support or maybe its corpus luteum too short.
I feel sad doc doesn't listen to me after al that hard work and money.

Is the bleeding spotting or full flow ?

I seem to have the same problem you do after a stim cycle, and two embryo's transfered, I bleed way to early, In my opinion. My FS upped my Luteal Phase support to Prog Pessaries (3 a day) and I could feel my body, wanting to push, so to speak, it felt so "fake".

I often wondered if a natural FET would be better, unfortunatly I can see with you, this may not work either, are you with MIVF ?

Thanks for your reply and sorry to hear you have same issues.

Its not flowing as yet but yes red discharge and like period pains constantly like my body wants to reject it all because its foreign and i'm not using any support what i would rather have. This is obviously not working either.

Funny though because after I had my laparoscopy done and everything was normal, I constantly for months had this spotting and a week after my period would start. I rang my specialist and he said it was from the surgery. Now i'm thinking, that can't be right I probably was pregnant couple of times and my body rejected it all.

I just rang me nurse but she has not get back to me as yet.
Yes i'm with MIVF.

I don't know if this is useful information (especially as I can't remember the specifics, but can ask if you'd like me to) but after 2 IVF cycles my doc did a whole series of blood tests and also took an internal sample from my uterus (I'm with SIVF) to see whether I had some sort of antibody that is associated with embryos not taking. I asked if the tests were new as I'd never heard of them before and had been doing IVF on and off for 5 years and he said no, but they are expensive and they don't routinely do them until you've had a few cycles. Anyway, upshot is, if I get to the transfer stage, they will give me an injection to take the whole way through from transfer. Might be worthwhile asking about.

I too have had the spotting every time I've had a transfer but I also met someone who had it and they got a positive result so it's hard to tell from that.
