Boobies leaking at 16 weeks?!?

Okay, so is it normal to have leaky breasts at just 16 1/2 weeks.
Me and my partner were on holidays in cairns, and we were dtd at our hotel, when he commented on my nightie being wet!!
I had 2 big wet circles on my boobs...

Of course, i was pretty excited and scared at the same time, it was sorta like a big event to me cause i hadnt really had much happening 2nd tri so far...but then it had me a little worried, because a lot of people had told me this doesnt happen til much later when my boobs start developing milk.

could it have just been an arousal thing that caused them to leak? as this has never happened before :/

i've been leaking consistently since about 16 weeks. not always large amounts (though DTD will help the leaking along cos of the hormonal release, esp during orgasm) - but i'm now 39 weeks and still leaking...

yeah it has only happened once, so far and that was last week. but i havent had any leakage since...that i know of....

hoping its all normal...

hormones is a wonderful thing i guess :)

Yep, this is totally normal. Mine started at 19 weeks and didn't stop! Freaked me out a bit at first too!

oh thank god, yeah it totally had me worried, cause everyone was saying that its meant to happen a lot later in the 2nd tri or even in the third...

i was worried something may have been wrong.

so is it just the breasts starting to form the milk??

i think you will find its not milk, but colostrum. It may be a slightly milky clear fluid. Mine started at about the same time as yours and went on/off for the rest of the pg, worse when I had no bra on.
Wiat till your milk comes in properly afta bubs is born, talk about leak, more like hose.......

LOL, sounds like a story my best mate told me, she said she was having a shower when pregnant with her first child, and she could see something white running down the shower screen...when she looked down it was her boob squirting milk,...she said it was just this continual stream of milk...lol:p
