Any electricians here on Sunshine Coast or Brisbane?

Howdy all,

Just wondering if there are any electricians out there (or who's partners are members here!)

We are doing minor renos to the house before selling - and we need some lights replaced in a few rooms - pretty easy jobs, but ones that do need an electrician.

We have rung around for quotes - all in the $500 vicinity - and we just didn't want to spend that much on replacing a few lights (we have already purchased the lights).

So just wondering if anyone out there has an electrician in the family who would be willing to do it for a couple of hundred bucks and a carton of beer or something :lol:

If not - doh - we'll have to fork out $500 - or make DH learn how to do it on the internet and have a go.. LOL

Where abouts are you? Which suburb? My dp is an electrician so might be able to help you

out depending on where your at..

haha! Nobody answered me so we had to go with one of the quotes that we got given. We got a local guy though and he was slightly cheaper - until they found that some of our lights weren't earthed and they had to run it through the roof to the lights (a few of them) so that added to the expense.. yay!! LOL
