For a girl is where it gets hard....
Beau (DF) loveees :Alysis Adel Morgan (celtic origins too)
I love Naima Adel Morgan
And my beautiful mother and Beaus mother love Evela Odias Morgan
No one can agree we have aggggggggges
but naming is good for early planning?
suggestions on favourites?
spelling?
thanks guys.:D

Oh and middle names for girls too would be sweet :D
-
I am not going to be able to help with names I have no idea about celtic names but TBH its not up to your parents.
If you like a particular name then you go for it hun. Sometimes talking to close friends and family about name choices is a BAD idea - someone is always going to have an opinion different to yours which may sway you away from your choice but at the end of the day ITS YOUR BABY they will love the baby no matter what you call it.
Good luck deciding

How about the name Eaven for a girl? I think its so pretty :)
All the best - names are so tricky...
-
My sister's god-daughter is Even (spelt that way) ... a lovely girl with a gorgeous name  ... So, i agree with SS on that name (spelt Eavan too ;))
Lauren ... i must say i absolutely LOVE all your choice of names :loveshower:
I ' almost ' named our DD's middle name Adelle (spelt that way as it's half DP's name ADam & half my name LorELLE).
-
I love all your girl names, my Fave is Evela and my least fave is Alysis
-
oh Eaven is beautiful it has a beautiful ring to it :)
definatly on the shortlist
-
I just wanted to say that it doesn't have anything to do with your mum what you name your child.
-
of course it does!
i asked her and i value her opinion greatly
-
I always loved Aine for a girl, DH vetoed though lol
Maeve is pretty :)
But I do love Evela too :)
Good luck! I think it is lovely that you and your mum and MIL are having a go at finding a name you all like. Mum was the first person we told Charlotte's name too and I think her loving it made us like it even more.

If you like Celtic names, what about Aoife?
-
I love Naema but the first thing I think of is ANTM.
-
I love Naima but the first thing I think of is ANTM.

I like Morgan in the middle names. My little brother's name is Morgan.
We have a Tara (Irish) and Morgan (Welsh) in our family. Mum said with Morgan her girls name choices where Rhiannon and Breannon. Apparently both are Welsh.
I understand the asking your parent's :D We talked to my parents as well as I value their opinion. :D
Good Luck!

I agree with the others re the parents factor. Whilst their opinion may be important to you- even more important is that YOU and DF like it!! No point choosing a name they like when you and DF prefer another one!
Having said that, I do think Evela is pretty, as is Adelle (I prefer it spelt that way).
So my choice would be Evela Adelle.
I think Naima looks nice too - but it may also sound like 'Name-er' - assuming that is how it is prounounced?
Goodluck deciding!
