8mnths old

Hi, ds is almost 8 mnths.. and compared to my ds who is 2, he is reaching milestones so differently.. just wondering if anyone else has an 8 mnth old and if they sound similar to mine, I know up til the age of 1 they all do things so different

DS is commando crawling, will get up on all 4s but cant work out how to crawl on all four ,, he has been commando crawling, draggin along ground for about 4weekws now

1st rolled at 4 mnths back to front, but not interested in sitting, actually cannot sit on own yet.

Not yet cut any teeth, but i can see them coming thru

Waking twice a night still for a bottle

Can say dada but thats it

They will all reach milestones differently. None of mine have done something at the same point in time.

Sounds like my ds at 8 months :) he learnt to sit properly at about 9 months and started crawling properley the next day. No teeth till 10 months, then cut 10 teeth in 3 months :o

And he is still waking at night at least twice :rolleyes: and still not saying much.

Wow Lorirae- spot ont he same,. its amazing how they all do things so differently. but each day he is becoming more and more aware of his surroundings :p

My ds is similar, has been commando crawling for about 6 weeks, not interested in crawling properly or sitting. but in the last 2 weeks he has started pulling himself up on everything- he just wants to stand - and then falls ;) i can't take my eyes off him.
He has 4 teeth but hasnt really started saying 'dadaa' or anything yet.
isn't it funny how they can all be so differant!
