Bubblegum or Tinlids??
Hi all,
Im thinking of sending in some pics of Toby to an agency. People tell me all the time that he should be doing modelling. I've done some research as well as reading the previous threads about it on here but i cant decide between Bubblegum or Tinlids?
Should i just send in pics to both and wait and see what happens at the interview, if we get one?

tinlids is awful. There are a couple of bb kids who had one or two shoots with them but I found her rude, and pushy to extend our membership and we had never heard from her in the whole 12 months. She was "so sure" Ds would get so "much work"

Thanks Danni! It's hard to know which one to trust, KWIM?

it was always ME ringing her... she never updated his website like she was supposed to...it was just one problem after another.
I put it all into the too hard basket. Which is unfortunate!

Well, i ended up emailing both so will just wait and see what happens! I had to email photos and application form as the for both agencies wouldn't submit! Maybe i should take that as a sign?!

The problem is hun, that they will both "accept" him. Its whether or not he gets any "jobs"

I thought i'd just go to the "interview" and see what sort of vibe i get from both of them and go with my gut! :)

Hi Madissun,
Did you take Toby to the interviews? Just wondering how you went, we've been thinking about it too....

I ended up signing him with Tinlids... Big mistake so far. Signed papers in August and haven't heard anything since. Mind you, she did bend over backwards to try and organise the photo shoot to suit us. But we just couldn't make it. Regardless, he's still enrolled there and i haven't heard a single word about any work. Pretty p*&^%d off considering we get stopped in the street EVERY single day and told how gorgeous he is!

Madissun, I am not surprised at all. I never received any contact from her after the initial payment until I sent her a nasty email explaining my disappointment. It was then that she extended our contract my 6 months and "Assured" us he would get work in that extra time.
Needless to say, we never EVER heard from her again. Not even to touch base, not for a job, and not even to let us know that our contract was lapsing

I'll be crossing Tinlids off the list then. Sorry to hear it hasn't worked out so far.
We entered a competition at the baby expo with Munchkins agency, we got the "sorry you didn't win but we'd like to offer you a runners up prize" email, along with everyone else that entered I'm sure. I thought I'd meet with them and see what happens.
There are quite a few agencies around, and their websites make them sound great, if only they were all as good as they say!
