What would you do in this situation??
Normally in the evening DD will wake from her last nap of the day, we feed, do bath then dress for bed and night nappy, then either straight to bed or read a story, sing a lullaby or something then down for the night. She's generally down by 7pm, or thereabouts.
Today she woke from a nap at about 4.30pm, I thought great, one more sleep before bedtime, should work well. She played, fed, then started grizzling at about 5.30 (we were at my BIL's house), so we threw her in the car, came home, she's asleep. Woke up in being transferred into the house so we left her to see if she'd go back to sleep but she didn't, so I rocked her back to sleep at about 6.15pm.
Then she stayed asleep.
I had booked in to see my friend beauty therapist at 8pm, had to leave at about quarter to eight. 7.30pm comes and she's still sleeping. Told my therapist I'd be a bit late (works from home, no drama), still sleeping. She stirred at about 8pm, so I quickly got her up and fed her and gave her to DH. He was going to bath her and put her back down.
I get home at about 10pm and she's still sleeping - in her clothes, no night nappy. DH says she went back to sleep and he didn't want to wake her
What would you do??
Let her sleep, risk wetting through the nappy (and ignore the fact that she's sleeping in her pretty day clothes)?
Or wake and change???
I just did not know what to do!
