What did you do for bubs 1st Birthday?!

Hi there

I am trying to think of ideas of where to go and what to do for my little boys 1st Birthday. We could have it at home but we only have a small house, we're not planning a big party just family mainly.

Because his birthday is mid July, it will be a bit cool, so would like something indoors.

What did you do for your bubs 1st Birthday?

Ok so it was a very cold day last Saturday in Melbourne but we took our DD to Chesterfield Farm because she has become very interested in animals lately, she loved it.
We only had 9 adults and 5 kids, our parents, siblings and neices/nephews.
We had a BBQ lunch and cupcake birthday cakes.
It was a great day, she loved it :D.

Luckily we had a nice sunny day so we had DS's birthday at home in the backyard with all our families and mums group.

You could try those fun places. Not sure what they're called where you are but in Perth we have Toddler Town, Full of Fun, etc. They're big indoor centres with lots of play equipment and areas for babies and toddlers and eating areas etc.
