My DS has been a constant dribbler, especially when teething. He has had brief stints of not dribbling but now we are in the thick of it again. I spoke to a child nurse and she told em to remind DS to swallow, I am sure he would have no idea what that would mean. Did your toddler dribble and when did it end? Thanks

Hey, I know a four year old who still dribbles. Some kids just have a harder time of it, maybe not noticing that wet sensation, or not able to suck it back up so well, or having a different mouth shape, or producing a lot of saliva. I do know one mum who had some success with reminding her child to swallow, it was actually a child with a disability too, so anything is possible! The earlier you start, the more success you're likely to have, so give it a go and I hope it gets better!
you can special whistles that help to strengthen mouth muscles. They increase in difficulty (to blow) as the child gets stronger.
feeding a child from a lower height (holding to spoon lower), so they have to kinda suck up can help with the muscles too.
teaching them to suck up, and close their mouth can help.
