I was using Huggies as well but DD was wetting through them which drives me insane so now I use a Baby Beehinds bamboo nappy (it is a cloth non-disposable nappy) with a booster (another piece of bamboo fleece) and a cover made of PUL. And no more wet pjs or bed linen!
Hi Hollye,
i was having the same problem with DS using huggies over night, poor thing sleeps on his tummy and would be wet right through and all the way up to his neck!!
i have since started buying huggies in the next size up for night times, and no more wetting through and waking up cold!!
so maybe you could try that? just buy a small pack in the larger size and see if it makes a differance?
i have two friends with this problem
1) uses huggies with a sanitary pad in it
2) uses the coles homebrand nappies!
both have success!
I use the Coles loves baby brand...work well on all my kids...
We did ok with Aldi brand, but have recently started using the woolies select brand... after leaks with huggies and one of the coles branded ones, we did ok with aldi, but are doing brilliantly with the woolies ones! Sam's getting close to the upper end of the size and can still happily go 12 hours over night with out a single leak yet. To my mind, huggies just aren't all they are cracked up to be!

We use Aldi nappies overnight and they work brilliantly for us :)
should say i use aldi on millie overnight too!
thanks heaps girls. Got her up this morning and it was so full it was rediculous. so her bum was cold :( She goes to bed at 6:30pm and i change her at 10pm then she sleeps till 7am. so its 9 hours of what seems like continous wetting. I was going to try the Sorbie overnights ones but i might give aldi a go. I have thought about going the next size (shes is crawlers atm) but i have seen them and they are so big compared to her.
holly i cant help with a size for mia but maybe someone on here who uses aldi nappies in mias size can send you one or two to try! i sent some to another member recently who was having similar problems!
her huggies are 6-11 kgs atm and she is about 8.4 kgs. i think the next size up in huggies is 10-15 kg? it would be great if someone could send me one to try..
Aldi are terrible for us.....they leak and not absorbant enough (esp. on Chelsea). They are ok for smallers kids (like Zachery....LOL). Eve Jasmine leaks through with them.
so you reccomend the coles baby brand kim? r they good for big wetters?
has anyone tried the new sorbies overnight nappies?
I have some Aldi 7-16kg nappies and am happy to send you a couple to try out :).
Just PM me your address if you'd like me to ;)
just PMed you, thankyou :)
We use Aldi and they are much bigger than the huggies ones. Huggies were hopeless, never have leaks with Aldi and I swear it weighs a couple of kgs in the mornings haha.
Some batches of the new huggies are absolutely terrible.
I use the old style huggies nappies on DD. They are the best. HOWEVER, you cannot get them anymore unless there is a store where no one goes to which still stocks them.
Sorry i wasnt of much help.
millie is in an aldi anywhere from 12-14 hours overnight, feeds 1-2 times and it doesnt leak!
