Just wondering if anyone knows how long after giving birth you can concieve (the earlest possible)?
I think within 2 weeks you can begin to ovulate again.
I would think as soon as your lochia finishes?? Don't know for sure though!
With or without breastfeeding?

am breastfeeding but for first three weeks supplemented with formula due to breast pain and have been expressing a few times a week at least to, to have extra on hand for when i need a break.
lochia stopped quite early (don't exactly remember when) but was not very heavy at all after first week.
i don't exactly remember when we DTD after this (have fuzz brain still)
anyway the last day or so i have felt like i might be pregnant, no symtoms except nausea (which I used to get when breastfeeding DD1) just have 'that' feeling.
It's not impossible, though unlikely. Do you think it's late enough to do a test? Your body can feel pretty crazy after birth though, as your uterus and the rest of your body continue to go back into shape.
Hmm, I would suggest a pregnancy test to put your mind at ease.
A friend of mine conceived 6 weeks after birth... so it can happen!
My nanna conceived 6 weeks after giving birth, as did my BIL's ex partner.
Think I will get a test to be sure...was just curious to hear others experiences.
Am a bit scared DH says he doesn't want any more babies.
I have a friend who is only 10 months younger than her brother. So yeah - it can happen.
I woudl say do a test and put your mind at ease either way.
My BF conceived her 2nd baby 4 weeks after birthing her first child. They're so close in age that it gets confusing for them as they're the same age for a whole month and they look like twins rather than regular siblings. My friend also didn't realise she was pregnant until she was 4 months as she was breast feeding and she has PCOS so she put her lack of AF down to those.

Very possible.....my DD1 was 5 weeks when i fell preg with DD2

Organicem - PCOS is polycystic ovarian syndrome
Think it must just be my hormones...maybe period is coming back.
Test is negative...DH will be pleased!!
