is it too soon to tell
hi everyone,
It has been a while since i have been on the forum. I found it too hard after loosing my first baby at 8 weeks. We have been trying again and for the last 11 days my temp has been high and i have had nausea, tender breasts and backache. I am not known for being patient so today i took a hpt. There was a faint second line. I am not supposed to take a test until the 17th june. could this be a false positive or am i really pregnant? i know i should have waited but now that the test is showing me a positive i want to get excited and tell my husband. should i wait till next week to tell him?

It could very well be a positive. I would wait a few days and do another test.
After I had my m/c and I suspected this pregnancy, I tested EVERY 2nd day for the whole TWW. It is very nerve wracking.
At the end of the day, you only have 6 days until AF will/would be due so you will definately know either way.
I would tell DH, even if it turns out to be a false positive. At least then you can express your feelings and not go crazy in the mean time.
Good Luck!

I too took a test too eary (first response) and had a faint positive on Wednesday, went straight to the Fertility Clinic and there was HGC but only 8.9 (very low) the nurses didn't seem to be very positive because it think they thought it was residual from my mc on May 14.
I had another blood test today and it is HGC going up, so definately pregnant but still so early it's difficult to say whether it will be viable.
I thought any line in the +ve area meant pregnancy it's just problematic testing so soon because so much can happen before your period is due.
I really hope for you that it is BFP and a sticky baby!
