my dd-3 months old, has oral thrush and we just started to give her the nilstat drops, but she just spat it all out and the second feed she vomited all of her milk out as well, do you give her another dose or leave till next feed? i gave her 0.5ml as i wasnt sure. could i give her the 1ml again, though not sure how much of the 1ml she spat out though....

You can give another dose of nilstat. the idea is to apply to the mouth not give directly to swallow as you do with other meds like panadol. Maybe measure 1ml, squirt a little into the mouth (from the side of mouth) and dab it around mouth with your fingers. Cotinue until all of the 1ml is applied. Nilstat needs contact time on the skin of mouth to work. HTH
thanks for the reply, just did that and although she did spit out some i did it with a glove and i think it went well. wish they would have written that on the box, cos i was just put it straight in her mouth to swallow
