DS has been waking up crying in the night. He seems scared and has been having some nightmares.
Lately he has been saying to me "bed Stuck" or "Uh Oh Bed." For the life of me I can't work out what he means!
Does anyone else have any ideas?

Maybe he is having night terrors?
My DD1 had them at around 18 months. Or maybe those falling dreams?
Sorry, I have no idea, but if they are night terrors, hopefully they won't last too long.
DD regularly wakes crying out 'stuck, stuck', and it's when she's got the quilt twisted so she can't pull her leg out over the top to kick it off, IYKWIM.
It's only started with the cooler weather because she didn't have any covers before that.
I nevr thought of that. Sometimes the sheet does get a bit tangled. I will have a proper look next time he says it.
was just going to suggest that maybe he was getting stuck in his covers!
Still saying bed stuck, so not sure what it is that he means as yet!
It's so frustrating when they're trying to tell you something but can't explain well. Sometimes it helps if I say 'show me' when I just can't get it, but not always.
Could be the smallest thing that you'd never think of. Is he in a cot still? Maybe he feels 'stuck' in there if so, and wants to be able to get out?
Hope he feels content again soon, whatever the cause.
Does he wath in the night garden? Maybe he is dreaming of upsy daiseys bed?????
If it's a cot - maybe he got his arm or foot stuck in the bars, and it woke him up - but he'd freed himself by the time you got there?
Thats like my step-daughter Paige, she's 3 and when she comes to stay with us she'll sometimes wake up during the night screaming and when we calm her down and ask her what's wrong and she says "theres a grey man coming through the window" freaky
Yeah - mayve it is just a reoccuring nightmare?! No he is in a big boy bed, so it is nothing to do with the cot. Hmm... I suppose as his language gets better I will work it out. I ask him to show me, and he doesn't show me anything!
