B is really driving me nuts with how clingy she is - she just wont leave me alone - has to be all over me all the time and i have to be within very close eye site of her -if im not in the same room with her she just screams and screams and screams - makes it sooo hard to get stuff done - As much as i love being with her and giving her cuddles i really do need a bit of space sometimes! when will she ever get over this? and is there anything i can do???
:hug: DS2 was exactly the same, it made life so hard sometimes. I would tell him that I'm leaving the room and would be back in a moment. After a while he started understanding and got a little better. The more mobile he got, the happier he was for me to leave because he knew he could follow me if he wanted to. By the time he was walking he was completely over it.
So, yes, it does get better! Hopefully very soon for you both :)
DO you have a sling to put her in? It doesn't feel that bad having to take them somewhere with you all the time, if you can still get stuff done :)
As for if it ends - crikey, DS is still like that at 2.5... now the difference is he runs after me if I run away :lol:
ive tried doing that and telling her i will be back and i quickly do what i got to do and ALWAYS come back - she will even follow me around crawling and crying on the top of her lungs - i sometimes just ignore her and go about doing what i got to do and that makes me feel sooooo bad but its the only way i can get things done, other wise im running around like a chook with no head during her 30min nap sessions! its all sooo exhausting!
even when im sitting in the lounge room with her she is trying to climb up on me and wont leave me alone! i think she loves me too much! hahaha
