My poor LO has been really unsettled and last night it was just too much for him. So we went down to PMH and after 2hrs were told it was tonsillitis. But he wasnt given any medication for it and I was told to just give him panadol. I've started him on a probiotic from the health shop but I was wondering what everyone else would do.
If you baby had tonsillitis how would you help them? Because I'm running out of ideas.
Oh bugger. That really sucks, poor liddle fella.
Can you freeze some juice or something in case he might like to suck on something cold to relieve the throat pain?

We've had about 9 bouts of tonsilltis here so I know how terrible it is for bub and mum. By the sounds of it it is viral tonsillitis therefore AB won't help. Unfortunately panadol is about all you can do. Lots of cuddles will help also.
I hope it clears soon.

Tonsilitis absolutely sucks, doesn't it. Other than panadol & cuddles, all I can suggest is cool water and pureed fruit because it is not heavy and thick like vegetables.
My mother suggested wetting a face washer and letting them suck that if the kids won't take a proper drink.
