effaced - what does it feel like??

hi all
last preg i had an internal at 38 wks and they found i was fully effaced and 3cm dilated...
the last few days i have had more upper back pain and also a little bit of cramping... not anything major but a little.
i have also started to insert epo.
anyway, i have been having a bit of a feel around (esp when inserting the epo) and was wondering what changes i would feel internally when things start to chg (effacing/dilation). at the moment it actually feels like there is less room inside - ie like things have 'moved down'. what would it feel like if things were progressing?

Well I also use EPO and when I insert them it does feel like less room but I don't know what that means. Sorry. As for the fully effaced and 3 cm dilated, i bet you are almost there!!
