I am wanting to make a Choc Self Sauce pudding and looked through the little cook book that came with my SC and it has a recipe in there for one but it says to cook it in a dish in the SC crock pot.
I don't have one that would fit into my SC, would it be okay just to bake it straight in the SC or not??
I just checked my recipe and it says to put it in a pudding basin then is the s/cooker. Maybe can you just cook it in the oven instead? It might stick or burn on the base if you put it straight in - :dunno:

Its probably too late now but just for next time, my recipe book that came with slow cooker says the same thing but I just put mine straight into SC but I spray it with cooking spray first comes out great.

oh awesome - the first time I made it I was worried it would not work so I doubled the recipe and it turned out so yummy - it is very rich - and there was enough to feed an army.
The second time I made it I just made it to the recipe spec and it still turned out and it is so yummy. My husband and I both had a bowl actually he may have had two and then there was enough for him to take to work the next day and some when he came home that night.
