Tags ?!?!?
I think this is an absolute hilarious thing...
DS has all these grouse toys.... and the is currently obsessed with the tags on the toys, blankets, pillows, mum's top etc.....
At the moment he is completey ignoring his toy alligator with the flashing lights.... he's chewing on the tag on it's bum
So cute......

LOL Jazz went through the same thing! (hmm, we may have the same alligator PMSL) it sings, flashes, scrunches, jingles... and she was just obsessed with finding the tag and flicking it with her fingers LOL! So cute!

Hee hee, so cute! Kind of like being more obsessed with the wrapping paper rather than the present LOL.
You can actually buy taggie toys (a soft toy with tags all over it), I think Caddie makes them and possibly Maz?

That is so cute !
All three of my boys have a tag obsession.
DS#1 and DS#2 both have blue puppies (soft toys) that have been their comfort thing at bed time since they were little. But it was the tag that they loved the most. They still have their puppies in bed. Not so worried about the tags anymore.
DS#3 has a blankie - it has a tag which has had to be sewn back on again. The blankie got really thread bare around that area from where he had held it so much. Its made out of lambs wool. He flaps the tag against his ears and face. If we are lucky he will do it to our faces too. Mainly when hes tired or upset. We are in big trouble if we ever lose blankie.

my bro's son was like this - he didn't care what toy he had at sleep time, as long as it had a tag for him to play with! he'd rub it against his ears til he went to sleep...
Maz gave E an awesome little taggy blanket - it's a small circle with tags of ribbon all around it. we got given a similar thing from a friend last week but it's a full size blanket with knotted polar fleece "tags" around the whole outside of it. be my luck i'll have a kidlet that fixates on a particular teddy we can't replace rather than tags now that we're prepared...

We have video of DS and his little friend fighting over the tag on the alligator at the same age (yes ,the flashing, scrunchy one). We brought DS a taggie blanket and at 23 months he still takes it to bed every night and would be lost with out it. It has a particular red tag on it that he likes to loop around his finger and stroke. We have 2 exactly the same and he always goes for the red tag. So cute :). It is probably the best thing I have ever brought him in terms of use and comfort (and possibly one of the cheapest ).
