depends on how creative I am feeling sometime I buy 12 littls tart cases fill them with caramel filling other times i will bake a cake or make a slice
I love to make scones with jam and cream. They're so much fun and everyone just loves them.

I usually make a batch of muffins (peach melba, blueberry or choc chip) or a chocolate slice or biccies, made a lemon meringue once. I love baking and use my turn at mothers group as an excuse to bake :)
I will be getting DP to bring an assortment of scones home from work (he is a baker)!
The other mums have baked a cake, made scones w/ jam and cream, etc etc.
Can't go wrong with fudge and it's heaps easy!
Okay I totally cheated and went out and bought chocolate profiter roles with grand mariner custard, lamingtons, tim tams, strawberries (thought I should add a healthy choice :) ).
I think I will have to practise baking before I bake for mothers group as I am not very good at it.

A lot of cake shops sell scones by the 1/2 dozen. I know our local one sells 6 for $3. I just then whip up some cream and pull out the strawberry jam......quick, relatively cheap, and yummo....
Ive just seen a recipie for Strawberry and Ricotta muffins....mmmm i know what im doing tomorrow....;)
