For a whole range of reasons, I am thinking of getting my hair straightened, but I am a bit hesitant because I have heard it can be very bad for your hair.
I would prefer to just buy a GHD and do it myself, but the reality is, I just do NOT have the time.
Just after anyone's experiences or recommendations? I have thick, wavy/curly hair- currently long, but I would be getting it cut chin length if I got it straightened.
it didnt work on my hair for some reason. i got it done at one salon, they re-did it twice and it didnt work, i tried it at a different salon and it still didnt work, i have no idea why. but i had it done so frequently and it didnt affect the health of my hair really.
my SIL has hair like nicole kidman, and it worked for her. she loved it. the only thing was it looked a bit funny when it was growing out. the roots came in a curly and the lengths are straight. she just got the lenghts cut shorter and used the straightening iron on the tops till it was curly all over.
